Author has written 17 stories for StarTrek: Voyager, Alias, Spider-Man, Firefly, Professional, Megamind, and Doctor Who. Hello, everyone! My name is Abby and I am 28 years old, married, and loving it! I recently completed my B.A. in Psychology and am moving on to work on my M.A. in Education, but my initial love was English Literature. It took three years of college to realize that I would rather be enjoying literature than analyzing it. My creative writing professor summed it up like this: When it comes to literature, it's safe to follow the rules, but all the famous authors are famous because they broke them. So screw analysis, in my opinion. I love to write, and I love to get feedback even more :) I've been active in fan fic communities since 1999, and I have always loved the comraderie. A word of warning though: If you read any of my fics from before 2004, they are not a good indicator of my current writing abilities. So be prepared for some scary stuff. INSPIRATIONS: My writing style is inspired by the novel Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte, and by the collected poems of Gerard Manley Hopkins. Sometimes, Ernest Hemingway finds his way in there, too.
