Hey there!
First off, a warning. I update extremely slowly and erratically, and jump from fandom to fandom without warning. I can spend two weeks utterly obsessed and then disappear for six months. Furthermore, despite trying very often, I have never finished a fic more than four chapters in length. Because of this, I don't usually post WIPs anymore, but if you see one, chances are it's going to stay that way. Trust me, I'm not happy about it either.
Second: Not all of my works are archived here. Due to FFN's policies some of my fic can't be put up here (in case you're wondering, FFN doesn't allow second-person pov because it's "interactive". Please tell me I'm not the only one boggling at this.) Also, I have the occasional ne'er-to-be-finished WIP or completed piece still awaiting editing or simply piece that I wrote and then forgot about which don't make it here. In short:
If you want to read all of my fics, not just what's archived here, go to my ficjournal.
Okay, so that's done with. If you're here you'll either want to read my fics or want to - gasp - find out who/what I am. If you're here for my fics, you're probably not reading this anyway, so I'm assuming you're curious about me.
About me: Well. I'm female, in my early twenties (where has my childhood gone?) and am studying mathematics in the UK, although I'm from Germany originally. I also lived in the US for a few years, which is where I learned English, although I've lost the American accent/spelling/slang/whathaveyou since. In my spare time, I read, experiment with Photoshop, read, start learning new foreign languages, read some more and occasionally write; you can find the products of that last on here. I welcome any and all feedback and promise not to flame you if you give me concrit. After all, it helps me improve, which is good.
About my fics: I have frequented too many fandoms to count and am currently without a "home" fandom; past have been Silmarillion and FMA. I mostly write... to be honest, I've given up on trying to pin down my writing habits. At any rate, it's almost all one-shots (for reasons detailed above). I used to be a sworn genficcer and still only write gen, but that has changed! I now write pairings. Mainly crack pairings (Zexion/Tom Riddle, anyone?), but what can you do.
Also, my early fics (all the early Harry Potter ones and the first two or three Silm) are here solely out of nostalgia - trust me, they're awful.
If you decide to read them anyway, don't say I didn't warn you. I like to think I've gotten better since.
About my LJ: If I sound interesting or if you love my stuff so much you want to see more of it (that'd be the day), feel free to check out my LJ. I rant, whine and describe my mundane day-to-day life there, and am always glad of an additional audience. That's also where one-shots that are too weird to go here go - and seeing some of what is up here, that's saying something! Furthermore, I have a fic-journal now; username aithris. Do drop by.
EDIT: My journal is friends-only now due to RL issues; however, I have an open friending policy. Feel free to drop by and comment, I'll add you. Some meta fandom stuff remains unlocked.
About my current status: I'm theoretically studying for my exams in a month's time because HOSHIT I'M GRADUATING IN JUNE but still wind up doing a lot of procrastinating. Which sometimes turns into writing! I've actually been writing a lot, although I haven't posted all that much of it publicly yet because it's still a WIP for the most part.
My current fandom is Kingdom Hearts! I'm most interested in the original six of Organization XIII, that is Xemnas, Xigbar, Xaldin, Vexen, Lexaeus and Zexion. My favourite character of them all is Zexion - canon Zexion, that is. The Zexion that is in a lot of the fics I find, not so much. Xigbar, Lexaeus and Vexen follow shortly after. (Xigbar/Zexion/Lexaeus OT3?) I have gotten so fed up with how fandom treats these guys that I am now co-modding a comm for them on LJ - look heeere. Let's see how long I manage until I wander off for more OOH SHINY
About my last update: Last updated 31.03.08 - I should probably update this more than once a year, shouldn't I.
