7/9/10: The Blood of Your Veins is very much still a story I intend to continue updating - as always, I apologize for delays between some updates, life gets very busy. I will make every possible attempt to post at least a chapter a week starting immediately.

About Me:

I'm a female in my mid-twenties who would probably die of embarrassment if the majority of my friends found out that I (still) write fanfiction. I'm friendly but jaded, sarcastic but sensitive, ambitious but lacking drive, outgoing but self-conscious and a whole slew of other contradictions. I have a full-time professional job and I attend college part-time. I have enough credits to have graduated already, but since I changed my major a proportionally ridiculous number of times, none of those credits are in the right subject areas for me to earn any degree yet. At this point, my plan is to finish my degree in Communications since that's where I'm the closes to graduating, and later I intend to get a follow-up degree in Education. I've already completed the coursework for minors in Art, English Literature, and Computer Science.

If you've been reading my fics or I've been reviewing yours, feel free to drop me a line -- I'm pretty friendly, as long as you don't act creepy like some people like to do on the internet. About My Fics:

I pretty much only write Harry Potter fanfiction about the Marauder-era characters, and my absolute favorite character in the history of literature is Severus Snape. I also like Remus Lupin an awful lot, and I have a love/hate relationship with Sirius Black.

I kind of have an obsession with giving Severus, Remus, and Sirius children for my fics. If I do romantic pairings, I will generally only do pairings that are canon, or pairings with original characters.

I try to stick to canon when I can, but obviously when I write pairings with OCs or give children to characters that didn't have children in the books, I have to change things accordingly. I'll do my best to stick to what canon I can in these situations, and I'll post the details on what I've changed in the begining of the first chapter.

Current Projects:

Always In Your Shadow is finished, although I may re-write the ending sometime in the future. None of the storyline would change, just a bit of the narration. The Blood of Your Veins is the sequel to AIYS, and that's my main focus right now. My story arc for The Blood of Your Veinscalls for it to be about four times the length of Always In Your Shadow, and I am hoping to make Calista's story into a trilogy, with a third installment around the same length as the first.
