Author has written 21 stories for Twilight. My name is Mel and I am a 29 year old single mother to a 5 year old boy. I live in nowheresville, Nebraska. I loved the Twilight books/movies but I can't help but love to read the fan fic and see how someone else interprets the way they think the story should have gone. Obviously Jasper/Bella is my favorite pairing, although I also enjoy reading other authors interpretations of the supporting characters! Jasper is my favorite character in the books but it's too bad he doesn't have a bigger role. Jackson Rathbone was the perfect choice to play the character and he's super hot! I relate most to Jacob in the books though, he gets his heart broken by his best friend more than once, yet he never gives up on her. His love for her is neverending. That's a pretty accurate description of my life. I also promise to review every story that I read at least once. I hope for the same from others! I am a slash loving h00r... Edward and Jasper are my favorite pair but I will read anything. Boy love is sexy and mysterious and all around wonderful. I support the LGBT community with every breath I take and fight for equality as often as I can. Some of my very best friends are gay or bi and to me, that just makes them perfect. They aren't afraid to be who they are and love who they love and that's a kind of bravery that I admire and respect more than anything! I have the absolute best team helping me with my fics! The fantabulous coachlady1 is not only the smartest and most wonderful beta in the world, but she's also my best friend and one of the people I know I can count on to always make me feel better and just to build me up when I'm feeling down. She's wonderful and amazing and I love her more than anything. Tiffaninichole is one of my pre-readers and the funniest damn woman I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She takes my words, makes them pretty, and makes me sound a lot less stupid! I love this girl, who is not only super-fucking talented but absolutely amazing and she believes in me. I don't know what I did to deserve the best friends in the world, but I'm glad I did it! The stupendously amazing handsandfingers is my second and just as wonderful pre-reader. She gives me a perspective that comes from strictly a readers point of view. Her input is so super important to me and I appreciate everything she does to help me! I'd like to add that a few more amazingly fantastic peeps have begun to help me with my fics. The fabulous Lindz26 has stepped in a few times to beta for me when Coach can't do it (like on my angsty/dramatic Paul/Jacob slash fic) and I have to shout out to the world how much I love her and that I plan on marrying her one day... She's one of the most beautiful people I know, inside and out. *happy sigh* Then there's the fantastic MizzHyde who has been helping to pre-read a couple things for me when my Tiff has been out sick and under a lot of stress. She is one of the most talented people I know and I love her to death! About a year and a half ago now, I lost one of my very best friends, jacksonmccoy. It was a loss felt by so many people and it still hurts every single day, but I know he's watching down on us, keeping us safe, and making us smile. He was such a bright light in this world and he is missed so very much. There are no words to describe the amazingness that this man embodied daily but he was truly a special special person. He has a place in my heart that no one can ever replace and when he left this world, he took a piece with him that I'll never get back. Rest in Peace bb, I miss you and I'll be seeing you someday!
