Hey, I'm AliceBB I'm 46 and live in the Greater Toronto area. I'm a system operator and incident manager/analyst on really big computer systems for a super secure and super critical line of business. I work 12 hour shifts -- days and nights -- and work can alternate between incredibly boring and hyper stressful.

My fave TV shows are Falling Skies, Combat Hospital, Criminal Minds (very glad Prentiss and JJ are back), NCIS (both), CSI (Las Vegas and NY - lost touch with Miami), Law and Order SVU, Fringe, and Glee. For Canadian shows: The Rick Mercer Report, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, and Being Erica. The only half hour situational comedy I even sort of like is The Big Bang Theory.

Back in the 90's, I was very much into Xena fandom. It changed my life in fact. I left my job of 12 years in Halifax NS, moved to the GTA to be with my now wife, went back to school, got a degree in computers and here I am. Back then I wrote a few fanfics under the name of "Nova". They are still out there, I think. Two were ST: Voyager and one was an Uber Xena.

I'm really happy to be back in the fanfic game and I hope you take the time to read (and hopefully enjoy) my stuff.

UPDATE: October 2011: My Resident Evil story Waiting for the End is now complete. Thanks to everyone who read / reviewed. Not sure if / when or even what I'll be writing again.
