MY HARRY POTTER WORKS DO NOT FOLLOW CANON ANYMORE

The release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has of course made a lot of my work void, but I will continue with the universe I adapted for my characters - here is a summary to explain the differences between canon Book 7 and the events prior to The Generations Series

(spoilers to Deathly Hallows)

- Draco Malfoy is caught and joins the Order of the Phoenix to fight Voldemort, turning coat on his former master to save his own skin. Over time he and Hermione form an interesting companionship and Draco shows that he has changed, that he has overcome his vile upbringing

- Draco and Harry defeat Voldemort together. Though everyone thought the Horcruxes had all been destroyed, on Voldemort's 'death' it soon becomes evident that they misread the situation and the Dark Lord was beaten, but not gone for good

- When Voldemort is beaten everyone is astounded by the resurrection of Dumbledore at Snape's doing. The powerful wizard is reinstated as headmaster at Hogwarts and Snape is vindicated and given a hero's greeting

- Characters that did not die in my version: Fred, Tonks, Lupin, Hedwig, Snape and Dumbledore. Characters that did die in my version, but not in the canon version: Percy (after returning to the 'good' side)

The GENERATIONS Series (Forum)

Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy defeated Lord Voldemort in the Battle of the Ages not long after they turned eighteen, with the help of the Order of the Phoenix and many of their closest friends. Nine and a bit months later the wizarding community experienced a baby boom, and in this time Hermione bore Draco Leshia, Lavender bore Ron Rachel and Ginny bore Harry Katie. The three girls became the best of friends, and it is they, who are at the forefront of this series.

Other notable characters include Draco Malfoy - Defence against the Dark Arts professor; Hermione Granger - Wife of Draco, Ancient Runes teacher; Rodeo and Parys - the girls' friends, who gradually might turn into love interests; Damian Allseyer, Cole Ashton and Julian Black - the bad guys; and many many many Weasleys - past, present and future; other favourites return from time to time and of course, most teachers are still at Hogwarts

Character Profiles (main trio)

Name: Alecia Tristyn Malfoy known as Leshia

Birthday: 16th November

Family: Mother - Hermione; Father - Draco; Sister - Evie (younger)

Appearance: Very small (both short and skinny), blonde curly hair, grey large eyes ('boggling' if her friend Rachel's description is to be believed) and with "her parents' beauty though she is yet to grow into it" - which she will as the series progresses

Nature: Leshia is precocious and feisty, fiercely loyal and charming, lovely in almost every way and entirely mischievous. She is the ringleader, the one the others follow into hair-brained schemes and dangerous adventures. She's a blunt character (like her father) and often says what she thinks, and yet she's very intelligent (like her mother), so knows when to keep quiet. She's the popular girl, and through her charm, her quirkiness and through her antics and sheer ingenuity, she easily becomes well liked by everyone (aside from those in Slytherin), even by those in the upper years of the school. You either love her or hate her.

Name: Rachel Molly Weasley

Birthday: 30th November

Family: Mother - Lavender; Father - Ron; Sisters - Hermia, Emilia, Ria, Daniella, and Harmony (all younger); Brother - Matthew (younger)

Appearance: Well, she's a Weasley so long red hair (of course), large blue eyes, medium height and build and rather pretty (in a feisty way)

Nature: Rachel is funny, witty, bold, extremely tactless (often resulting in Katie having to stamp on her foot to shut her up), brave and adores Leshia and would do anything she says. She's not as bright as the other two, but you couldn't find a more loyal friend. She often ends up between her friends as they have very different natures. She and Leshia are very similar in that they have the same sense of humour and the same habits.

Name: Katherine Lilly Potter known as Katie

Birthday: 23rd October

Family: Mother - Ginny; Father - Harry; Brother - Michael (younger)

Appearance: Very tall and well developed (much more so than the other two at all stages), long straight shiny black hair, green eyes; very pretty in an obvious sort of way, she starts off as the most attractive, but when Leshia starts to grow into her features they become less quirky and she quickly assumes the position as most attractive

Nature: Katie is very conscientious and worries greatly about rule breaking when her friends come up with schemes. She's more mature, though can be quite bitchy. She expresses more concern for her friends than the other two, but also bears a grudge when wronged. She's very clever, but not naturally so, it would seem she has to work hard to get good marks. Often begrudges Leshia her popularity and feels a little jealous that Rachel likes her better, as she feels their blood ties should make her the favoured friend.

I normally base my Draco sketches on Freddie Ljungberg just because I saw him in those Calvin Klein adds and thought my God, it is the guy from my stories. I base my Hermione sketches on recent pictures of Emma Watson, and my Leshia sketches on her in the first movie. Before I did the portrait, I compiled the pictures to base my sketch off and made this- it's not perfect by far, but I still like it, it looks slightly real

I was working on a chapter of the last story in the series to stave my writer's block, and I've drawn a picture from one of those scenes - one of the balls. Leshia and her date, who for now is remaining nameless. Detail of Leshia

If anyone would like to use these characters, then go for it :) I would love to read stories with my characters in them. Not that you would want to :) just ignore me, I'm terminally narcissistic! It's my biggest character flaw! Well anyway, if the eventuality comes along, I would be more than honoured :) that's every writer's dream isn't it? I know I write for the main reason of gaining pleasure when I read my own stories. Would be fun to see the adventures my characters are getting up to and not knowing how it's going to turn out. Okay I'll shut up now :)
