Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I haven't been updating anything recently. I never thought I'd let my stories sit for 4 months without a single update. I'm very sorry.

I normally don't expose all my personal affairs here (bar one rant) but I think you guys deserve to know the truth.

Time right now is very stressful; I'm 25 years old, fully responsible for my family, have a full-time job and also study. I have to take on a lot of the duties in my household because there is no one else that can do it. I don't earn much, but I provide whatever I can for my family.
Work hasn't been all that good, I've had a few problems and some are still on-going.

The past 2 years have been very hard. One particular incident has left me emotionally, psychologically, and physically distressed. I'm hurt and often feel worthless. At times I even feel like Rinoa in LBD. Only worse. Much worse.

I hope I can return to that happy place I was at 2 years ago. I want to return to this beloved and enjoyable hobby. Writing for Squall and Rinoa is a passion I can't put in words (ironic enough).

So please bear patience with me in this hard time. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers, and I will return soon. I promise!

Well it's LBD's birthday so I thought I would cheer up my darling fic with an update :D

I know on the publishing date it says 28th, but that's darn PST time for you. Always 8 hours behind me! I remember the day I posted the first chapter. I was moving out of London and posted that to tide everyone until I could get internet at my new house. Gosh, it feels like so long ago. 2 years has passed so quickly! Anyway, it was like 7am when I posted hence USA putting it down as 28th _ Darn you, USA, darn you!

Thanks everyone for keeping this story going. I wouldn't be here if it weren't for your continuous support and encouragement. I mean that deeply from the bottom on my heart right to the top. I love hearing from my fans and it's an honour to keep writing for your entertainment.

I love you guys. Always have. Always will. ;)

12/12/12 - OMG, the last time we'll ever have the date, month and year to be the same.

Guess who's back? Back again? Niqsta's back ... tell a friend. No seriously, go tell everyone because I updated Chapter 18 of Leather Black Diary! Woot! And it only took me 3 months. That is disgusting compared to how I could write an entire story and post it in that time frame a year ago! Oy vey!

I will try very hard to get chapter 19 completed and posted for LBD's birthday. I can't believe it's been two years that I've been writing this story. Still remember the first day I posted it back when I was living in London. It's been a good journey, and I know it'll continue to be great. Really love the support everyone shows by reading and reviewing. Can't thank you enough.

Note:

- We now have an Image Manager feature which uses images for book covers to our stories (Yipee!). I wanted to know if any of my readers are good at creating pictures, much like posters, that could be used as book covers. Of course, it'd have to relate to my stories - so no yaoi pics of SquallxSeifer for Breaking Through Appearances :P

- Due to FFnet reinstating all their old rules, I had to change a number of my stories from their original rating due to a couple of naughty words popping up, save they get deleted forever! We're talking about crep, shot, fudge. I don't like using those words and for one or two chapters I had to let the characters go wild and end up using them. But due to this rule, you may find that my stories aren't appearing on the main story section. If this is the case, just select the filter options on the top and change the rating to M and you should find them :)

I recently moved out of London and now live in a small town in Bedfordshire. I've always loved reading and found that reading books for any age, and broadening my taste to all types of genres, I've not only opened myself to some really great stories, but also used this tactic in my own writing.

Some of my works are aimed at a teen audience, others are directed more towards young adults, while the post-games are for more mature readers. Writing for all types of audiences has developed my writing skills, motivated and inspired new ideas, and enabled me to make some really fantastic friends here.

Other than that, I'm just your average fanfiction writer who (though doesn't have any future ambitions to become professional) loves writing for fun. :)

FanFiction Trivia

Some of my stories parody another in some way.
1. In The Set Up (Chapter 17), Ellone relates a story to Squall and Rinoa in her bedroom. The scene is none other than Breaking Through Appearances where Squall realises who Angel_Wings really is.
2. In Friendship Isn't Enough (Chapter 6), Squall and Rinoa watch an unnamed movie in Deling City. From the synopsis, the story is Breaking Through Appearances.
3. In Leather Black Dairy (Chapter 16), Nida and Rinoa watch a rom-com movie. The story is Friendship Isn't Enough.

Michelle Haize is a motif in all postgame stories as Squall's love interest. Her character was inspired by Ashbear's Lauren Rachels.

Lauren Rachels also makes a cameo in Horns of a Dilemma.

Zack Fair was initially set to play the role of Mr Nooj in Breaking Through Appearances, but was replaced due to already having a similar role in The Set Up.

In Leather Black Diary (chapter 7), Rinoa and Caraway watch a football (soccer) match. The actual game was based on the FIFA Arsenal vs. Barcelona second leg at Nou Camp.

In The Set Up (chapter 11), n9neSTAR and I play a small cameo as Bailey and Sabrina where our characters are pushed into a fountain by Seifer, recreating the scene in From Riches to Fame where Rinoa and Squall suffer the same fate.
