Hey everybody, I'm Violet, aspiring author. I spend most of my time banging my forehead against my keyboard in hopes of creating SOME semblance to a story (you know the saying . . . give a monkey a keyboard and EVENTUALLY they'll write out Romeo & Juliet). Reviews are my obsession, and I pledge to always, ALWAYS, review a story I read, even if I don't like it. It's part of my religion (not . . . really . . . you get the gist) Feel free to give me constructive criticism. After all:

Being the neurotic perfectionist I am, I just really, really want to get as close to perfection as possible.

Chasing Cars was my first Fanfic and it's angsty, morbid, and probably has a trillion plot holes in it. However, most reviewers seem to find it alright. It's Bella/Jasper and involves a psychotic Edward. Need I say more?

I've written another angsty fic, this time a oneshot involving the TOTALLY IMPLIED Brett/Lukas relationship in The Gates, my new obsession. It's all in my grand scheme to try and write every day to keep my pen sharp and deadly . . . in case I ever need to gouge someone's eyes out. Run. While you still can.

I know I'm a music dork and I'm proud of it. MUSIC DORKS KICK BUTT! I usually listen to Kittie, A Perfect Circle, Slipknot, Tool, Cancer Bats, Otep and ALEXISONFIRE (fave band, btw). I do not function in normal society without my daily dose of MUSIC. My friends ask me why my iPods die twice as fast as theirs do- it's because I listen TOO MUCH. Sadly, I can't sing worth pennies- except on Rockband. Even then, it's horrendous.
