Yes, I am an American...well, my mom's from the Philippines and my father was born in New York City. His grandfather came from Ireland and his grandmother came from Egypt. On his mother's (my paternal grandmother) side of the family, they came from Wales almost 200 years ago. My nutty great-aunt made a family thingy telling about our family history...
