Greetings !

I'm an 24 year old girl hailing from the always Sunny: London (specifically Croydon - unfortunately !), England. I am commonly known as Emma, and even more commonly known as 'that one who took a degree in Classics only to win pub quizzes ' ;-) ! I am into Science-Fiction and Fantasy mainly, but specifically shows and films like Torchwood, Star Wars, New BSG and Firefly. I also like shows such as Bones, Due South, Prison break, Queer as Folk USA, and pretty much any costume drama the mighty BBC do.

In other things, I love rock and metal music, Ancient History, Canterbury (where I used to live term time sob!) Chocolate, Twinings Tea, and my Jeans :-) I enjoy reading, writing, going to the cinema & Theatre and skiing. I am a self confessed slash (mainly) shipper and hold a special place for (but not limited to) Harry & Draco, Jack & Ianto and Alexander & Hephastion.

Currently, I have just graduated from university (And oh how I miss it..) , but am now repaying my debt to society (and to the bank) for my formative student years, and am working at the moment co-ordinating general surgery at one of my local NHS hospitals. But hopefully next year I'll go and do a Masters degree in either Classics or International journalism, and realise my dream of becoming a foreign correspondent for the BBC (and also as a bonus of going back to education - get my student discounts back ;-) Whoot !)
