My Reading and Reviewing Policy

I have three very simple rules:
1) I don't ask you to read
2) I don't ask you to review
3) Take responsibilty for what you say

What it all comes down to is this: I'm not holding a gun to your head, so you don't have to feel obligated to do anything. If you do read one of my stories, and you do feel the need to review (one way or another), have the balls to take responsibility for what you say. Either log in and use your account or don't log in and leave an email address. Mind you, if you're saying something nice, it won't bother me too much if you don't (there's really nothing to take responsibility for there).

I have a theory when it comes to reviewing: Don't waste your time. That doesn't mean that I don't review. It means that I review authors and stories that make me want to review. Sometimes that means being a little harsh on people I can tell aren't living up to their potential, sometimes it means just telling an author that I'm still reading.

The whole theory comes from something one of my English teachers mentioned in reference to theatre. "You have every right to sit on your hands." What he meant was that if you thought it was horrible, you didn't have to clap. If you thought it didn't deserve a standing ovation (even if everyone else was standing), you could remain seated. If I don't think something is worth my time, I don't bother reviewing...especially since reading my review will be wasting someone else's time.

Potentially Upcoming Stories
Aside from what I've already written (and mostly not finished), I've a few ideas that are sort of in the works...

1) Leaving China - a Syaoran based story that expands on the past, the present, and the future of Emergence.

2) I AM the Glomp Monster - a Meiling POV that was inspired by something in Peacewish's Lotus Reborn. One-shot.

3) The very unformed story with absolutely no title. It's an AU thought that was inspired by two little boys who were on the bus one day. They looked very much like I imagine Syaoran and Eriol would at the age of 3 or 4.

4) Questionable Parentage - regarding Tomoyo's father.

5) Balance - my refusal to portray Sakura as completely naive. As

6) For Him, Wherever He Is... - 'When I die, I already know I'll have at least one regret.'

Meanwhile, feel free to read what has already been written:

Past Incarnation: At 21, Sakura and Syaoran have no memory of loving each other when they were younger. In fact, no one remembers except Eriol. Meanwhile, on the other side of the world, a girl who looks quite similar to Sakura has suffered the same fate. Could there be a connection?

Emergence: Sakura wants nothing more than to be allowed to grow up. Her friends, on the other hand, feel they need to protect her from the world. Could they be hurting her more than helping her?

The Great Daily Glaring Contest: Syaoran's cousin comes to Tomoeda with some news. While there, he stumbles on the town's daily passtime: watching Touya and Syaoran glare at each other. One-shot.

Two Little Words: Five years ago, Syaoran heard two words that changed his life. Now, he has the chance to face the past and possibly put things somewhat back to rights.

Thanks to everyone who reviewed anything I wrote - especially since I don't bother to beg for reviews. It's a real treat to know that at least six people bothered to read something I wrote (actually, I think it's up to 17 now.)

Clow had already lost his wife, he couldn't lose her too. It's amazing what we'll do for the ones we love - especially when we use magic. Of course, we don't always think about how it affects the future.
