Author has written 28 stories for Card Captor Sakura, Hunter X Hunter, Beyblade, Naruto, and Yu-Gi-Oh. With my fingers crossed for good luck, I aim to post at least four fics this year, excluding two more that are based on the first series of Yuugiou (known to most fans as Season Zero Until then! You're actually READING my bio? Anyway, I used have another name but due to the rule of ff.net (and because I don't want to share names with another), I'm now known as twin.charm. I'm not that good when it comes to writing. If you must know, English is not my first language. Still, when I see or watch a good anime, I write fanfics about it to remove the different thoughts about the show crowding in my head (and therefore stop distracting me from whatever things I have to do). HOWEVER, whenever I get to the middle of the fic I'm currently writing, another different idea enters my mind and my hands get itchy to start that other fic and I never get to finish the first one... Also, the best ideas always enter my head whenever I'm not supposed to write, but when I have all the free time to do it, I suffer from writer's block (this is SO ironic). I can tolerate yaoi to a certain point but yuri? Don't count on it. I like weaving my own ideas into a fanfic but I'm fonder of crossing two stories or more. Crossovers are more fun to work on. :) If your fics have anything in common, what would that be? Hmm... it would be the ideas behind my fics took shape a loooooooong time ago (like, months) prior to their date of publication (see reason above). Oddly, my Yuugiou fics are an exemption to this. Also, my fics are based on the original version of the series... which is probably the reason I don't get as much reviews as other authors, especially in the Yuugiou fandom. Speaking of original version, the way characters address each other in my fics usually just mirrors how they really do in the original. This is not just only to preserve the original and remain accurate but also because, specifically in anime, given the suffixes that reflect one's status, people are rank-conscious. Therefore, even a simple drop of -kun, -san, etc. that might be just normal in other countries (also possibly because of no available direct translation when in conjunction with the name) would actually be significant. And while the other name references may have a direct translation, consistency is important to me. Hence, all as original. And as a general observation, if my fanfics do not contain romance or even the slightest trace or implication of it, I receive only few reviews. It's been tried and tested already. For now, my improvement is reflected through my Beyblade and Yuugiou works.
