I BELIEVE IN GOD!!!

It's been three years since I've decided to post my first fanfic. I feel like I've grown alot and I'm happy with my work so far, but I'm aching to write a whole lot more! I've learned and read and written so much and I'm also very grateful to anyone who's bothered to look at my work. This site is great for getting on your feet and really getting a feel for what you like. It's scary at first, sure, but all it takes is a click at that submit button and there's no turning back!
I take writing very seriously and I make sure to go over everything I write to make sure it's a polished as can be! I graciously accept pointed-out typos. I try hard never to bash other pairings or characters I don't like, being polite is very important to me! Crack-ships are never crack-ships to me, I like the little guys that never get enough limelight, so bring on the strange ones! I'm a sucker for romance so that's mostly on my faves (angst romance? my heart!). I'm opened minded on just about anything, so never be afraid to tell me something teetering on the edge in a review.
It's also my biased opinion that only girls write fanfiction (unless "he" is writing for starwars and the like). So, if there's any guy out there who reads my stories, drop me a line that your male if you review. It be nice to be proven wrong ;)

If an author asks for constructive critisim then give it! Point out typos, misspellings, ways he/she can improve! The author wants to improve, help out!

Favorite-ing Authors:

When you put an author on your favorites list, it means you enjoy ALL of his/her work.

It's all good and dandy when you read a story you really, really like and decide "Hey, I know! Ima favorite this author!" I'll give you a cookie for it. Heck, I love you for it. But think about it! To really say that the author is your favorite, you have to like all or a lot of what they write. It's like your telling him that you can't wait for the next story--whatever it may be. Okay, so if your allergic to Twilight and he writes a fic about it, I'm not telling you to read it, but still. Everything else ought to be on your likage bar before you can say you honsetly favorite this author. Of the people that've got me on thier favorite author list, I'm sure more than half have only done it because of my Getting to Know a Predator story. It's not that I don't like it, but I got other stories, too, and I wouldn't mind if those users read em, too. At least check em out.

I have two people on my favorites list, and that means I've read just about everything they've written--if not, a good percentage.

Think about it before favorite-ing authors.

Personal Beliefs:

This is a story about God. Read if you believe in him, and read even if you don't.

A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely.

The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a lineup to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it?

Why do we sleep in church, But stay awake through a 2 hour movie?

Why is it so hard to talk about God, but so easy to talk about sex?

Why are we so bored when we look at a Christian magazine, but find it easy to read Playboy?

Why is it so easy to ignore a Godly friendster message, Yet we repost the nasty ones?

Why are churches getting smaller, But bars and clubs are growing?
