Author has written 14 stories for Boy Meets World, Shakespeare, X-Men: The Movie, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, and Angel. I'm a college graduate with a BA in English and Theatre Arts. I am currently working as an usher at the Guthrie Theater, and looking for a real job. Favorites Movie The Fountain. It's like watching a painting, it's about an idea not about a plot. The attention to detail is ridiculous, every pattern and color is repeated, every symbol is recurring. The soundtrack is a perfect complement to everything that happens. I love everything about it. Favorite Part: The end sequence, where bubble Tommy figures it out. TV Show Buffy the Vampire Slayer- The only show actually about girls and friends and relationships and people. It's weird that the truest representation of actual female people on television was written by a guy. Favorite Part: Season Two finale- Buffy and Angelus fighting to the death, he knocks the sword from her hand, taunting her, and tells her there's nothing left. He asks her "Take all that away and what's left?" and stabs at her, she catches the sword in her palms and answers "Me". Other Favorite Part: Couple episodes into Season 7, Spike and Buffy in the church, where he give her that whole speech and then the ending image of him steaming and asking "Can we rest now, Buffy? Can we rest?" Book The Once and Future King. I've read this book at least once a year every year since I was 14. I could write a whole nother book about why this is the best book in the history of time, but I won't. It's perfect and human and wonderful. It takes names from legend and it makes them the realest people ever put on paper. Every act comes from a character based motivation, every point from every legend becomes something that would have happened to the people involved and the tone is this sort of subdued, melacholy hope that I've never heard anywhere else. Favorite Part: Guenevere is captured by Maligant, and her page escapes and runs back to tell Arthur, who knows all about her affair with Lancelot, and knows that everyone knows, and loves his wife and his best friend too much to do anything about it and knows that Lancelot is the champion he'll never be and that allowing him to rescue Guenevere will save her life, and will also allow Lancelot to be Guenevere's hero. White writes that the before the page can finish telling his story, Lancelot was calling for his sword, and Arthur was on his knees strapping on Lancelot's armour. Favorite thing Ever Written Down- Lancelot, after months of rumors about him, that he's dead, that terrible things have happened to him, finally comes home from the grail quest. Arthur and Guenevere sit to listen to him tell this story about how his reputation has just been dragged through the muck, he's been humiliated over and over (by his own son), and he's come home after coming the closest to getting the grail and failing the most bitterly to achieving it. He tells his story, Arthur hates to see him like this, and is horrified that people can't stumble into heaven as well as walk there. Lancelot tells him about his worst humiliation, his son (who is basically an angel) unseated him and rode off, leaving Lancelot on his butt in the river. Guenevere asks him what he did and he replies, "I knelt down in the water of the Mortoise, and I thanked God for the adventure". And now Quotes! Want. Take.
