Author has written 32 stories for Harry Potter, Twilight, Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Chronicles of Narnia, Merlin, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, and Sherlock. Hi, I'm Pickle. I'm one of those all around geeks that obsesses over fandoms and has scary fits when anything new comes out for them. I like a ridiculous amount of fandoms, but the ones I write most for are Harry Potter, the Chronicles of Narnia, Merlin and Lord of the Rings. My Likes and Dislikes: Music- I'm not too picky. When I'm writing I won't listen to something that goes against the mood of the story, but normally it just depends what I feel like. One type of music I will on no account listen to is rap- it gives me a headache. Of course there are some musicians that do my nut in, some examples being Joe Mcelderry and Justin Beiber. Books- Give me a good fantasy book and I'll be a very happy girl. Of course I'll read other things as well, so long as it's well written, but please don't give me Phillip Pullman or Stephenie Meyer. I'll have to burn it. Television- I don't watch a lot of it, but when I do it's either for Charmed, Merlin, or some kind of comedy like Mock the Week or QI. Or documentaries. Documentaries are good. I hate soaps, I always have and I always will do. I also hate reality shows such as Big Brother or I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here. Every time I see them, I lose faith in humanity a little bit. Movies- Again, I don't watch many new ones unless I'm at a sleepover/party/other strange occaision. That said, we do have quite a lot of DVDs that I watch from time to time, but nearly all of them are three years old or more. The only time I really make an effort to go to the cinema to watch a film is when it's an adaptation of a book I really like- take Voyage of the Dawn Treader for example. There's a good movie for you. Go watch it (along with the other two Narnian adaptations.) My stories:I haven't been writing much fanfiction recently- most of my inspiration has been for original stuff. I don't know whether I'm happy or sad about that. i'm happy, because, well, writing original stuff is great, but I don't know when I'll next publish anything on here, and that's a bit depressing. I don't think I'll get any multi-chaptered stuff up; I keep losing inspiration when I try to write them. Hopefully I'll keep churning out one-shots every so often, though! I in no way think I'm a brilliant author. Sometimes I'll write something I'm rather proud of, but I know that there's always something to improve. What I love about this site is that it allows me to get better. If you compare my first stories here to my latest, there's a massive difference.
