June 16th 2011: So I've been on this site for just over a year. And it occured to me that I didn't have a profile. I have decided to fix that.

August 22nd 2011: Hello! I'm back from holiday so, theoretically, I can start planning the sequel to The Myths Are True. Look below for more! Not much more, but... anyway.

September 15th 2011: My god. I've been back for a freaking month, and have written one sentence of the sequel to The Myths Are True. I am so sorry, but I really do have excuses.

Firstly: When I got back, I arrived to a mattress on the floor and some boxes. This is because, while I was on holiday, everyone had swapped bedrooms. One of my sisters had moved into my room. The other one had moved into the 'Outside Room' (basically a room with brick walls, a fire place, electricity, windows etc, but about 10m from the house.) My parents had moved up into the room that my sisters used to share. And I had been moved into Mum and Dad's old room. Then the rooms were repainted.

Complicated, right?

So, everything I owned, every book, every pencil, every shirt, every speck of dust, had been packed up like we were moving house. So, it took me about a week to unpack everything neatly. And this is AFTER a trip to Ikea for a new bed and wardrobe.

Secondly: Pretty much the day after I finished unpacking, it was time to go back to school. *half-hearted whoop* Lower 6th. I swear, the workload tripled. So I'm still getting the hang of that.

looks miserable*

So, that's my sob story.

React with sympathy :D

THE FUNNY THING THAT HAPPENED TODAY:

Ok. Does everyone (anyone?) know what Young Enterprise is? I don't really know much about it, like, for example, if they do it in America as well as England, because that's where a lot of you seem to be. Anyway. Basically, I think the general idea is that you get into groups and make a business, run it for the year, then see what happens. Apparently you get team skills. I don't know, because we have one lesson a week, last thing on a Thursday, for half an hour. Half an hour a week, and they're expecting us to raise roughly £2,000? Most of it'll be in out own time. But anyway. We have our lessons away from the rest of the school, in what we call the 'Huts' - which sounds, I'm sure, much more glamourous than they really are.

But I digress.

My point is, the walls feel like they're made of a combination of wood and cardboard, and the windows are a bit leaky and are usually left open. So.

Picture the scene: a group of about twenty-five sixteen/seventeen year old girls, sitting in a classroom without tables, on chairs facing the front desk like seats in a theatre, where the teacher stands, talking about fundraising, and how good last years group was. Then, like a small, fuzzy rocket, a bumblebee zooms through the open window, and flies, zig-zagging, a few inches over the heads of the pupils.

All hell breaks loose.

There is shrieking, flailing of arms, ducking, diving for cover. Through the door I can see the Year 8's in French, looking into out classroom through THEIR doors, clearly wondering who was just murdered.

The bee comes around for second pass.

Ali runs across the room, bent double, arms over her head.

Me, Caroline and Alice are killing ourselves with laughter at the rest of our year, while Amelia calmly walks across the room, opens the fire escape, chases the bee out with a sheet of scrap paper then shuts it.

There's a brief moment of silence, while the teacher stands and looks bemused, then everyone breaks into applause as Amelia sits back down.

Me, Alice and Caroline wipe the tears from our eyes.

In short, it was the most hilarious lesson I've had in the week I've been back at school.

I had no idea that bees were so terrifying for some people.

I mean, I used to have a phobia of wasps and bees. Really, I'm talking a proper phobia - completely irrational, absolute terror of all things flying with stings (I have a quite funny picture of me about 7 years ago, sitting with a red mesh beach bag over my head in a campsite in France so the wasps couldn't get near me. Yes, I was a strange kid.) But I grew out of it a few years ago, and now I'm catching bees on the window in glasses and paper like a pro. I am calm, and no longer go into lockdown if I see wasps/bees. Hornets I avoid, but meh, that's common sense.

Rambling again. Sorry. My point is, I've never seen people act quite like that around a single bumblebee before, and was mightily amused.

Sorry again about the lack of progress with the sequel.

September 26th 2011

Ok. How many people watch Spooks? I have no idea. But I do. And don't read on for this section unless you have already seen 10.02. There will be

*SPOILERS*

Got it?

Last chance to turn away.

Ok. You've made your choice.

THEY KILLED TARIQ! WHY OH WHY WOULD THEY DO SUCH A THING? WE LOVE TARIQ! WE DON'T WANT HIM TO DIE ALONE IN THE BACK OF A TAXI! Pretty much.

sniffs*

Rant over.

Carry on.

I'll vent my fury somewhere else.

November 16th 2011

My God. It's sodding November, and STILL no The Myths Are True updates. Would you like the good news or the bad news? The good news? Cool. Well. Yes, I HAVE been writing a story. *smiles, then remembers the bad news* Ah, yes. It's not the sequel to TMAT. It is A sequel, but not the next one chronologically, so I can't post it.

Also, Inheritance by Christopher Paolini arrived, at long last. So I have been reading that. Anyone else read the Inheritance Cycle? If so, good for you. If not, and you like magic and dragons and elves and dwarves and stuff, you should. First one's called Eragon. No, it doesn't count if you've seen the movie. The movie was terrible.

But that is my other distraction at the moment. As well as school, being a young Scout leader, and the motherload of homework that has been piled on me. I have also discovered Young Justice. I *heart* Wally right now.

Anyway, I am really sorry about my incompetence when it comes to deadlines.

In the mean time, a different SPNxPJ crossover I recommend is Five Times the Winchesters Saw Through The Mist (s/7492228). I just read it - short, but well written. I like it, anyway.

If anyone has any character appearances they'd like to see in The Myths Are True, from Supernatural, Percy Jackson or the Roman Camp side now, as well, I guess, let me know.

00:00, January 1st 2012

Happy new year, guys! Hope you're all having a great time!!

In other news, I swear I will start properly writing a sequel to The Myths Are True, and a huge thank you to everyone who has favourited and alerted, and especially those who have taken the time to review. I've also recently decided, "Physics? Screw physics. I hate physics.", and have since quit and swapped into Classics. MUCH better. Problem is, now I have to catch up on a third of the syllabus.

Suffice to say my head of year was not pleased. She is also the physics teacher, which made the conversation somewhat awkward... "Hi, can I talk to you about quitting your subject? You see, I can't do it, and I have minor breakdowns when I realise the depth of my incompetence. So I'd really rather do something that I like."

Yeah. That was a really awkward conversation.

EITHER WAY. HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL AROUND!

May 16th 2012

Ok. Yes, I'll admit it. I am a terrible person.

It has now been about a year since I finished posting The Myths Are True, and I haven't done a sequel yet.

You know at new year I swore I'd start it? Well. About that.

Although I swear, I have been trying. I got a few requests for Thalia, so I was going to see if I could make the Phantom Traveller episode of Supernatural work, but after writing and re-writing multiple different story lines I gave up, because it just didn't work.

So I'll get Thalia in somewhere, I swear, it'll just have to be somewhere else.

And I have been distracted. *see above rant about Physics* I did the catch up on Classics! It's now my favourite subject. My other distractions are numerous. I re-read the Inheritance Cycle. *SPOILERS* Why the hell was Arya the green rider? That truly, truly irritated me. For gods sake, it was all going to well up until that point. *END OF SPOILERS*

I also discovered Naruto. Oh, my, god. Watched around 120 episodes during half term, have watched roughly another hundred since. Kakashi is the most amazing person ever in my opinion right now. I also re-read the first nine or so Darren Shan books, re-watched all the Marvel films, saw Avengers *insert fangirl screaming* ohmygodmostamazingfilmever and so on.

And that's only in the last few weeks. For other distractions, I direct you to the list below of stories I have plans for. Many of them have the first few chapters written. It takes looooots of time.

And right now, I have two weeks of AS exams left. As of Tuesday the 29th of May, my exams will be over for the year.

Then I plan to write a sequel.

I hope.

I am made to feel slightly better by the fact that I'm still getting feedback from the story though. I currently have 40 reviews and 52 favourite-story things.

I love you guys! Thank you for your patience!

Tell me if you think of anyone/thing you'd like to see in the stories!

And out of interest, does anyone actually read this? I'm genuinely curious. I've been going on this every so often, but I don't know if anyone actually gets these apologetic rants.

Oh well. I hope someone does :D

See you in a few weeks, hopefully.

July 24th 2012

Dear god.

Last two weeks of term. Exams are finished, we start doing next years stuff so we get a vague idea of what's going to happen.

Last week of school, suddenly every teacher is giving homework for over summer. And I don't mean, look over that sheet or read that overview of the first topic, I mean read this book carefully, (times 3 because I have 3 english teachers,) read these books of notes. And so on.

And I'm doing an EPQ next year - which is basically a personal project. You do shitloads of research which ends up completed as a 5,000 word essay. I literally asked one of my favourite teachers to be my supervisor on the last day of term, and we got together with the teacher who is the EPQ Goddess who knows everything so they knew what I was thinking. And I knew what I want to do, so I went to the meeting thinking Cool, this is fine, it'll be a five minute meeting so they know I'm not clueless.

Oh no.

They want me to finish the project by Christmas if possible, which, in teacher-talk, means do it or suffer the consequences. This project is, for anyone who doesn't know, actually a huge amount of work, and apparently I'm meant to have all the research done before I get back to school.

Also, I am on holiday in Spain with no access to the internet for any long period of time - I am writing this on my phone in a cafe - so I can't rewatch episodes etc to get the details etc.

To sum it up, this sucks, and instead of a nice, relaxing summer writing things I enjoy, instead I have to carry around a tonne of papers/books/crap in my one-bag-allowance.

For all these reasons, I actually have no idea when I'll be able to write a sequel. BUT I WILL. I SWEAR I WILL GET IT DONE. But every time I try, school staff get together and plot to ruin my life.

sniffles*

I'm really sorry :(

Hey everyone! I'm Hannah. Nice to meet you. In a manner of speaking.

You should know: I'm Australian, moved to England with my family when I was 8-ish. About 8 years ago? I have also never been to America. So my point is, all my stories will be written with the English spelling. If that annoys people, I'm sorry.

Never done a profile thing. I mean, I have a Facebook account, but I never log on to it, so it doesn't really count. Anyway.

I'm not going to list the shows/books I love, because they are many (books more than shows) and you'll probably get a vague idea from what I write.

I am also not going to copy/paste hundreds of different poems/lists, however much I find them amusing or deep and meaningful, because I'm sure you've read them all before.

What I AM going to post is this.
It was written one afternoon when me and my friend were meant to be revising for a GCSE the next day, a few weeks ago. There was no plan. Caroline just picked up a pen and wrote the first word. So:

Caroline. Me.

Once upon a time, there was a cactus called Brian. It had seven million eyeballs that were on spring-y bits which occasionally burst into song. Brian's favourite omlet had numerous, magical properties, such as the power of FLOPSY*, which is very, very, very, VERY speshul.
One day, Brian was walking through the walls of the universe, when, suddenly, fifty flying pavlovas, armed with crossbows and some plasma cannons descended upon his speshul pet - Davros.
Brian squealed like a hippopotamus on rollerskates, and produced plenty of new eyeballs. These were on motorbikes. The pavlovas blinked, waving cheerfully at the eyeballs, then somersaulted towards Davros. Davros exploded in a puff of purple sequins, then re-materialised beside the pavlovas, while Brian devoured the souls of millions.
The pavlovas squawked in awe and promptly melted into a puddle of jigsaw pieces, which grew fangs and big mandibles.
Brian span like a ballerina on a roundabout, then shot out his magic omlet.
The omlet glowed.
Suddenly, there was a great disturbance in The Force, and tendrils of scarlet lightning burst up from... The Depths. The lightning raced up from... The Depths, and sped along the surface of Alonso the omlet, before slicing decisively through the tyres that supported Brian's eyeballs, and he directed the lightning into the hearts of the pavlovas.
Suddenly, there was a splatter. The eyeballs flinched as the pavlovas imploded, and a cloud of raspberries descended upon them to remove the evidence.
Worlds gasped in horror, then the universe vamoosed into... The Depths, and reality as Brian knew it was no more.

And there you have it. Ever so slightly mad. Just a little. Make of it what you will. :D

Yes, the spelling 'special' as 'speshul' is deliberate.

Power of Flopsy - for those of you who don't know, that's a running joke between me and Caroline. You know in Star Wars whenever the Jedis do their these-are-not-the-droids-you're-looking-for thing they wave their hands? Yeah. That's not what they're doing: they are in fact miming patting a rabbit - the Almighty Flopsy, who is the source of Jedi power. Random, I know. But that's the reference. :D

MY STORIES:

There is something you should know about the way I write stories. It takes a long time. I seem to be incapable of committing to a story long enough to finish it in one go. Because of that, I have decided from now on that I will complete the story before I start posting it. That way it will be finished, unlike my poor neglected Allies which has been left to collect dust.

ALLIES:
CROSSOVER: Heroes / Supernatural / Doctor Who / Torchwood
Sorry guys, but this is why I write whole stories before I start posting them. I got a few chapters in, then lost interest. I got a few more out, but the spark's gone. I feel awful about it, but I don't think Allies will be updated at all in the near future, if ever, because I'm planning more stories to follow The Myths Are True. Sorry.
But if anyone has an idea for where the story could go, it is up for adoption. If you do want to write it yourself, though, please tell me. Because I'll want to read it and see what happens to everyone! :D

THE MYTHS ARE TRUE:
CROSSOVER: Percy Jackson / Supernatural
Ok. This I feel much better about. The story's finished, and I'm posting new chapters at roughly midday (English time) every two days. There are six parts, so the whole thing should be posted soon. I have also decided to do a sequel, or a load of one-shots/other stories in which the Supernatural timeline, with Percy Jackson spread throughout.

SEQUEL TO THE MYTHS ARE TRUE:
I'm back from my holiday people, so in theory I can start working on this. I am about to go back to school though, so I can make no promises about when it'll be finished. I'll try to remember to keep you updated.
*As of Sept. 26, I have no idea when I will be able to even START writing this. In English Lit A-Level alone, I've been given a reading list of around 6 books, and that's ignoring the essays from english, essays from history, physics questions and psychology. Not to mention the fact that my year APPARENTLY has to raise around £2,000 pounds ASAP. Really sorry :( I'll try to keep you posted.
*UPDATE 16May2012: MY AS EXAMS END ON THE 29TH OF MAY. GIVE ME A FEW DAYS TO JUST GENERALLY COLLAPSE, THEN I'LL GET STARTED!

*UPDATE JULY 24TH - SEE ABOVE FOR THE DELAY IN A SEQUEL. Basically my holiday is not a holiday. And I have no idea when I'll be able to do the sequel, which really bugs me because I have PLANS (*cackle*) but not the time it takes to actually write stuff out. And I have better plans for a sequel-of-a-sequel that the actual sequel, which is also irritating, because I keep thinking about that instead. I have outlines for so many of these things. As in, like, a dozen or so, and people keep making suggestions, and this has spawned an amazing excel spreadsheet. It's really exciting. But I just don't have the time to write it out :(

BUT I WILL. At some, indefinite point in the future (which I get is not a helpful qualification.)

I'm really sorry, guys.

OTHERS:
I write when an idea hits me - randomly, and all the time. I have an A4 notepad for it so I don't forget. The problem is, I have lots of ideas for lots of different stories. I have at least 20 story summarys and ideas, but with only the first or second chapters done and no other plan.
They will, over the veeery long time it will take me to finish them, slowly begin to appear.

They are almost all crossovers, particularly Supernatural, Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Inheritance Cycle and some Charmed. Skulduggery Pleasant has also made the occasional appearance. Well, you people want a list? Prepare to be amazed.

So far, my notebook has become one hell of an Excel spreadsheet. It's amazing, seriously.

Stories I have vague plans for include (in no particular order,): Animorphs, Charmed, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, NCIS, Avengers, Dark Angel, Transformers, Inheritance Cycle (or Eragon, if anyone's seen the movie. Which sucks, so if you've seen the movie but not read the book, READ IT it's 100x better.) Percy Jackson, Peter Pan (2003, not Disney,) Numb3rs, Sarah Jane Adventures, Primeval, X-Men (all of them, I'm writing a super-mega-huge-lets-link-all-the-movies-using-my-favourite-characters-and-hope-it-makes-sense things that'll probably take aaaages,) Thor, Darren San, Mortal Instruments, Being Human, I am Number Four, Inception, Jumper, Keys To The Kingdom, Narnia, Lord of the Rings, Maximum Ride, Smallville, The Spiderwick Chronicles, Torchwood, The Matrix, Sherlock, Spooks and Twilight (as much as it pains me to admit it.) There's also Heroes, Sky High, Criminal Minds, Pirates of the Caribbean, Shapeshifter, Merlin, Spiderman, Treasure Planet and Tron Legacy.

These are mainly crossovers.

Well? Are you amazed? THIS IS WHY IT TAKES ME SO LONG TO WRITE. I CANNOT KEEP TO ONE STORY. I try, I really do. But somehow it just doesn't work.

Thanks for reading! (because I'm going to assume you have, if you've gotten to this bit.)

Feel free to leave a message if you want to know anything more about my stories - although I'm expecting most of them in reviews or whatever, as I don't think ANYONE would read my profile - or whatever, really.
