Hey! Let me just start off by saying I'm new to writing fanfictions, so I may not be very good at it. I'm definitely not new to writing, just writing stories like this. I'll try, but that's all I can guarantee.

My username, RadiantKeybladeFantasy, comes from three of my favorite video games by the way:

"Radiant Dawn", "Kingdom Hearts" (the keyblade), and of course, "Final Fantasy". I'm always trying to think of interesting and cool usernames and I've managed to waste some, unfortunately. Most specifically, my youtube username. Ugh! Oh well...I've pretty much gotten over it anyway, lol.XD Which, that also reminds me, I find EVERYTHING funny...or, at least most things. It is far too easy to make me laugh, and while I sometimes hate it myself, I can't help it. I love to laugh and have fun, and that's all I try to do everyday. You can say I live in a fantasy world, but if I do, I really don't care anymore. That's how I like it, and besides...I'm actually more informed than some people seem to think.

Anyway, that's just a brief summary of who and how I am. Look for more chapters to to be uploaded soon...I hope.=) I apologize if updates are slow, however. I'm always doing other things and tend to remember this at the last minute. I have ranch work, videos, and a bunch of other stuff going on a lot, so...yeah, it's hard to keep up with everything sometimes. I'm trying to find a balance though.

Oh! And, just a quick warning...my stories may have a tendency to go a little "over the edge" because sometimes I get a little too excited about what I'm writing. I'm sorry if that ever happens and I'll try to stay in the lines of believable and sane, lol.

FACTS ABOUT ME:

I'm REALLY into those ever-popular, renowned "hero tales" where the guy has to save the girl! Something about that is just cool and fun to me - and, honestly...I think it's one of the best ideas out there! It really shows you exactly how much two people mean to each other and I find it to be like, the ultimate climax to a film or story. It's exciting, fun - and the ways that it happens are always changing, so it never really gets old! Those are the kind of stories I like reading about and have always written - so, you might see that at some point in at least a few of mine. Just another "heads up"!

People call me a romantic or whatever, but that's just the kind of thing I like. Call it cheesy, I don't care. I'll still call it who I am.

Play any of those games, and you'll see that they have one thing in common at some point - even briefly.

Squall Leonhart is my favorite Final Fantasy hero (recently beat out Tidus, lol), so I'm probably going to write mostly FFVIII stories for this reason. Not to mention, he and Rinoa are an amazing pair! I think Final Fantasy VIII is one of the best and most fun games out there! It has a little bit of everything in it: action, adventure, magic, love, etc. - it's so perfect! Besides, even though it's a game - it shows that opposites really DO attract, people will do anything for love, and even the most unlikely person can become a hero everyone can rely on. Squall fits everything I've said up to this point PERFECTLY, so you can see why he's my favorite. Say and think what you will, but SE really came through on that one!

My stories are inspired from games I've played and movies I've seen and enjoy. I take the plot of those and twist them somewhat to come up with my ideas - throwing in my own flare to create, what I hope, to be an interesting plot that will keep readers enticed. This may, and probably will, lead to seemingly odd events at some point (you know, the kind that makes you think "what the-?!"), but that's what I'm used to writing. I think, and hope, that as long as I can pull it off - I'm not doing anything TOTALLY farfetched. If you enjoy my stories, great! Thanks! If not, don't read 'em. Simple as that.

*Change of icon, you ask? Well...the more I write about Squall and Rinoa - the more I like 'em, lol. I can't help it.XD

Although this is kind of random, I would also like to add - I do NOT support the R=U theory either. Honestly, I can understand why some might get that idea: the clues throughout Final Fantasy VIII are practically 50/50. But, if you pay close attention - there are more significant signs that point AGAINST Rinoa being Ultimecia. While I do think it's an interesting theory, I nevertheless believe it's completely untrue. However...due to the way Ultimecia's age and point in time is measured: "a sorceress many GENERATIONS ahead of our time", I AM willing to believe she may very well be a descendant of Squall & Rinoa - or even Cid & Edea. My reasons for being unsupportive of the theory are as follows:

1) If R=U, why would Ultimecia leave herself (Rinoa) to die in space? If she did that, she would not exist in her later time. Even if Rinoa had forgotten everything about her past due to the GF, Griever, she still wouldn't forget herself. None of the other characters did, after all.

2) If the whole reason for Time Compression was to "bring her lost love (i.e. - Squall) back to her", why would she later try to kill him during their confrontation? If Griever is supposed to be Squall, then wouldn't that mean Rinoa would remember who he is? Who goes through all of that trouble to try and get back the person they love and then attempt to kill said person? It doesn't make sense. That kind of puts a snag in her intentions now, doesn't it?

3) Early in the game, before the first battle with Edea/Ultimecia, she clearly states she is "the sorceress whom you have condemned for generations." Rinoa was never condemned or hated. In fact, it wasn't even her they feared - it was her power. She was willing to allow herself to be sealed inside the Sorceress Memorial for the sake of the world. It was done of her own accord. She was never forced to go through with it. She made that decision because she truly believed it might just be for the best. She was even willing to do it a second time before Squall convinced her otherwise. It's not in Rinoa's persona to hate - especially so strongly.

All of that being said, I truly do find it easy to believe that some people simply look for the smallest of excuses to prove R=U - and, honestly...they're rather weak:

1) The ending when Squall is becoming lost in Time Compression and beginning to forget Rinoa, his friends, and himself - people claim to see wings on Rinoa's back suddenly turn from white to black, automatically associating those with Ultimecia. Well, that could be anything. Due to the blurriness from Time Compression, and the rapidly increasing pace at which Squall is forgetting...for all we know, they aren't even wings. They're barely visible and from what you CAN make of them - rather small, as well. So, there is no sure way to tell what they really are. Some have even gone so far as to say Squall's wide eyes right before he begins to fade from existence is his reaction to seeing Rinoa's future: "becoming Ultimecia" - when if you recall, you see this reaction from him upon his memory of Rinoa slowly dying in space. It was a trick of Ultimecia's, as she had often employed against him throughout the game - and, her final trick, at that. His fear of losing Rinoa, as we clearly see from the game's halfway point, is more so what that can be linked to - a way to say he's NOTHING without her. He has no reason to live - and, ironically...he almost doesn't.

2) On the Ragnarok, when Rinoa is revealing her fears of what might happen to her when they return home since she's now a sorceress. Her words "I don't want the future. I just want time to stand still. I just want to be with you", is nothing but a wish of hers; a voiced fear of what she may never have in her life. Wouldn't you feel the same way about someone whom you loved, had just met, and suddenly risked being parted from for an indefinite period of time? It is no indication that she is Ultimecia; that it can be linked to the latter's desire and intentions for Time Compression. The two didn't even know each other for more than a couple days by that point...of COURSE she wouldn't want to be apart from him. They hadn't even really gotten to know each other yet and she may have to leave him? It's a normal reaction to such a situation.

3) "Sorceresses have extended lifespans" - Forgive me, but...where and when exactly is this stated in the game? If it's even hinted at, it's done so vaguely. Only Adel's life was expanded, but that was due to the cryogenic process she was thrust into. Edea nor Rinoa ever had this happen to them. This is nothing more than speculation, at best. Besides, even if Rinoa had managed to outlive Squall, I don't think she'd go against everything she stands for and attempt to destroy all existence (Ultimecia's words during the final battle "all existence denied") just because she was sad that he was gone. No one turns takes a turn for the worst just like that - even over the death of a loved one. I would know.

4) "Rinoa preserved her body using the Sorceress Memorial after Squall's death" - While this might make the most sense out of every possible scenario - one thing doesn't: In order to bring Squall back to her, Rinoa chose to freeze her physical being so she would not age and then so many years later, a completely - either oblivious or tyrannical being, chose to free her for evil purposes (because she TOTALLY planned this whole thing in advance generations prior)- but instead, Rinoa plotted to compress time to reunite with her long dead love. It goes without saying that, due to having been frozen for so long, she would never have been able to use Griever. Irvine himself specifically states "In my case, I didn't junction a GF until recently. That's why I remember a lot more than you guys." - so obviously, it takes at least a few months, maybe weeks, of using a GF before a person's memory starts to become affected. Having not been able to use Griever for years and years, this would not be an issue for Rinoa. Therefore, she'd still remember all of her friends, Squall included, and would not attempt to kill him upon their first confrontation. Plus, because she would have been frozen for so long, this would also have prevented her appearance from changing. So...how can she come to look like Ultimecia? Even if this theory somehow managed to be true, despite how farfetched it is - Rinoa would suddenly wake up after all that time and just decide she would rather use her powers for evil? (as Ultimecia is clearly malicious) I don't think so.

People have taken some points of interest in the game and mixed them around until they came up with a wild idea. Rinoa and Ultimecia are COMPLETE opposites. Rinoa: kind, caring, compassionate, merciful - basically good in every way. Ultimecia:cruel, hateful, unfeeling, merciless - basically evil in every way, or close to it. How does one go from being so innocent to becoming so ruthless; so heartless and malevolent? It doesn't happen - at least not so easily. Rinoa wanted Squall back SO badly that she was willing to destroy the world: affect her own past; her own existence negatively to bring her lost love back? I don't know about you, but that plan sounds seriously flawed. It was also stated by Square Enix that Ultimecia's intention all along was to become OMNIPOTENT: a living god, incapable of dying, so she would not suffer death at the hands of the "Legendary SeeD" (a.k.a. - Squall) as her fate foretold. Rinoa even emphasizes on this herself, stating "She is trying to achieve "Time Compression". She's the only one who could exist in a world like that. She, and no other." - meaning, Squall couldn't exist in such a world - so, her bringing him back would, again, be pointless. Ultimecia also makes a reference to this when the party confronts her the second time, stating specifically: "The time has come. You're the "Legendary SeeD" DESTINED to face me?" This quote, and the info from SE, is the most significant proof against the theory. To basically deny such evidence is nothing but sheer ignorance.

The only theory that gets to me more than R=U - is that Squall dies in the game. Again - there are a few evident signs that such is not the case:

1) Edea's Ice Strike - people say that actually does kill Squall and the rest of the game (for three discs) isn't really happening. Okay, to start - when someone is dying, they tend to have their PAST flash before their eyes - not their future. No one knows what's ahead for them after all. The only things that seem questionable are the appearance of Moombas and Shumis - but, just like there's no way to prove they were always there...there's also no way to prove they WEREN'T always there; that Shumi Village didn't always exist. You can't visit Trabia until after the first confrontation, so the evidence to such remains unspecified. As for Squall having no wound, we don't see what happens in-between so it's unreasonable to just assume he would have died. There is nothing to actually support such. Seriously, with a title like "Final FANTASY", you can't honestly expect much in the way of reality. That's just plain naive. On top of that - Squall, of all people, not only imagining things like Shumis and Moombas, but actually going so far as to come up with said names for them? If he was really dying at that time, how would he be able to envision all of this - and in such detail?

2) After Ultimecia's defeat: Time Compression - People believe Squall actually really did die at this moment and Rinoa was only smiling because of the restoration of the flower fields. Meanwhile, rewind a bit, and you'll recall that mere seconds before then - she was in tears at the sight of Squall. On top of that, upon looking at him again after returning to the flower fields, she is clearly seen smiling happily. Why would she suddenly smile like that if he was dead given the situation moments prior? Also (and my FAVORITE part of this theory) - how could Squall be at a party with all of his friends if he's dead? If that had happened to him, I seriously doubt ANYBODY would be celebrating. Squall had become the leader of SeeD by that point, so it makes no sense that they would all be happily going about their business instead of honoring his death.

3) "You don't see him standing next to Rinoa on the balcony" - SE's way of keeping his existence a secret: the element of surprise. It was just one of those common instances where the hero is left to be believed dead only to suddenly show up again at the end. Rinoa had previously proven her ability to revive people (at least those close to her) when she did so with Seifer upon first becoming a sorceress. This action is performed in EXACTLY the same way on Squall - so, it's easy to believe she pulled it off yet again. Also, Ellone's one wish in the game was to reunite her family - Squall included. If he had died - like with Rinoa, we would not see her smiling happily as she looked up at Garden flying overhead. That is not the sign of someone having successfully acquired what they've worked so hard to obtain. There is never a gravestone for Squall seen anywhere in the game either - a rather interesting fact given that he was so vital to SeeD and played a prominent role in Ultimecia's defeat. He was the "Legendary SeeD" upon accomplishing this (the very being that Ultimecia was destined to fall to) - so, dead or alive, he would have nevertheless retained this title. Don't you think such a thing is worth commemorating; honoring in some way? He would have been buried if he had died, I'm sure - and such events tend to be marked, after all. So, for SE to not show such a thing when all is said and done - it's rather odd.

And seriously, the Dissidia thing - it only proves my point about people just looking for excuses to prove the R=U theory true.

I am actually more willing to accept R=U over Squall being dead. The "signs" as to the latter are far more vague (and rather ridiculous) than the former. Though, as I've said, it in no way means I DO support R=U - just that I can accept it easier than Squall's supposed death.

"Phenomenon" - I am REALLY sorry about the long wait. I did not expect to take nearly 2 weeks for another update. I'm just extremely unmotivated to write lately, even though I still want to, so it's slow to come right now. I still intend to update this story, but it might take some time still. Please be patient a bit longer.

Dissidia:

Dissidia 011: Undecim - I will probably be rewriting this story. I know it can be better and that's really why I want to redo it. It won't be done for a while now, but I intend to do so at some point.

Crossover:

Yeah, I know, right? Given what I've said about how I'm not really into writing crossovers, I'm actually considering one and slowly developing an idea. Unfortunately, due to not being completely thought out enough just yet, I don't even have a title in mind. However, I will say that the story will revolve around major Final Fantasy rivals: Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VIII. Common, I know, but...I just can't pass it up!XD

Not. even. close. The most annoying character? To me? Is probably Xemnas...or Sephiroth (even though the latter doesn't really have much of a role in KH).

Probably Namine. I like Olette and all, but I don't see them being a couple. On top of that, it's practically inevitable that Roxas would fall for Namine due to specifics pertaining to their past. They were just basically meant to be!=)

22. What's your theory on KH: Birth by Sleep?

Actually, I never really came up with one. I was just wishing they'd get back to Sora and the others already. Still...BBS has grown on me.

23. Was Chain of Memories a waste of time?

No, I don't think so. It did clear up a lot of things pertaining to the start of KH2 (Roxas, Organization XIII, Namine, etc.) If you didn't play it, you'd be TOTALLY lost (like I was, having played KH2 BEFORE CoM, lol.) I think CoM was actually the LAST of the first three games I completed. Whoops...

24. If you had the choice of meeting ONE (and ONLY ONE!) KH character, who would it be?

Aww...I can't decide between Sora and Kairi. I hate this question!

25. Which KH character do you relate to the most? Why?

I can't really say. I can be like Riku sometimes, to be honest, but at the same time...I think I'm more like Sora, with a hint of Kairi in me due to her caring and compassionate personality.

26. What's the most embarrassing moment that ever happened to you that had something to do with KH?

I can't really remember, but I think there was a time when I used Sora and Auron's "Bushido" on Hades when running from his "lair" in the Underworld. I knew he couldn't be hurt at the specific point I launched the attack, but I did it anyway. I still don't know why...

27. Have you ever cosplayed as a KH character? If so, who? If not, who would you like to cosplay as?

No. I've considered it and even WANTING to do it, but...I don't think I ever could. Now, if I'd ever thought about it back when we still celebrated Halloween...I'd probably have chosen Sora!

28. The Funniest Moment in all of KH would be...?

In CoM, on the Destiny Islands, when Sora runs up to Riku. It was something like:

Sora: You're Riku!

Riku: Gee, thanks for remembering me. It's only been, what...a couple hours?

Don't quite remember it completely, but I know it was along that line.

29. The Hardest Enemy/Boss was...?

Sephiroth. Taken him on ONLY once in both games, but that was enough for me. I never played either game long enough to stand a chance at actually beating him.

30. What was a good edition in KH2 that made it oh-so-addictive?

The drive forms were a DEFINITE plus! Loved that idea and it really amped up Sora's potential! The only thing that made it better was Riku as a world partner!XD Now...if only he could have joined them OUTSIDE that world...and Kairi, too! *hint, hint, SE*

KH2. MUCH happier ending, Kairi fought (even momentarily), and there weren't any Heartless in that game that freaked me out. I HATED Agrabah and Monstro in the first game! EESH!!!

It's a new kind of story and the characters keep changing; progressing in new and better ways! You can clearly see how much they've grown from KH1 to KH2!
