Author has written 20 stories for Gravitation.

I am a true middle-aged geezer. I have probably been alive longer than some of you put together. In fact, I could be your grandmother.

I only write in the Gravitation universe and within a specific timeline which blends both the anime and the manga series together. I love the Gravi boys and envision these young men being much deeper and thoughtful than typically portrayed. I usually set most of my stories long after the anime and manga, which means their characters have developed and matured beyond the canon. Shuichi calls his lover Eiri and Eiri is more caring. It may seem out-of-character to some but my Eiri and Shuichi have grown beyond the stereotypical superficial fandom portrayals. I like to throw a bit of humour into my work whenever possible and I will poke at these sweeties because it is fun to do so.

I rarely use contractions when I write anything, whether it be emails, curriculum or fanfiction. For fanfiction, especially dialogue, I specifically do not use contractions, to simulate the characters speaking Japanese without using Japanese words. Besides, if more people stopped using contractions and started spelling out the words they wished to use to express themselves, we would stop seeing your being used for you're when the writer meant you are.

I have a tendency to use British spellings and turns-of-phrase for most pieces.

I depend on my betareaders (yes, more than one) to make my pieces better.

Pet Peeves:

1. Using Japanese in a story without a glossary at the beginning or the end. Just stop using Japanese, folks! The only time it should be used is when an English equivalent is not available, like shoji and geta. And then you need to add a glossary so your readers know what you are talking about.

2. People who do not know how to spell and do not use spell-check.

3. People who do not know grammar basics, arch of a story, visualizations and character motivation should not write. Stop writing. You suck at it. Take a writing class then try again.

4. People who throw writing out on boards without getting it beta-read first. Get yourself a betareader before submitting your work, someone who knows the grammar rules, has a clue about punctuating sentences and can spell English words correctly.

5. Mary Sue stories.

6. Script-like stories where writers insert themselves as fangirls interacting with charas drive me mad. It's over-done and boring and usually pieces of shit.

7. People who use "text message speak" in their stories. Stop it.

8. People who don't know the difference between:

A. To, Two and Too
B. There, Their and They're
C. Here and Hear
D. Your and You're
E. Threw, Through, Though and Thought
F. Except and Accept
G. Quite and Quiet and Quit
H. Loose and Lose
I. Peak and Peek
J. Reins, Rains and Reigns

New Note: I always add start/completion dates to my stories now because sometimes it takes a few years for a story to finally pull itself into a cohesive whole. The point? Don’t post a story before its time, no matter how much you want to get it out there.
