I know still no updates. Life has really sent me for some serious loops these past couple of years. And my art is starting to take off so I've been spending a lot of my time there. My sincere apologies for not finishing these stories, most of which I have outlined from start to finish! YIKES. Many thanks for the continued faves and comments despite my lack of updating. A lot of this has had to do with the stress of student teaching, graduating, and illness of the past year. I haven't had the attention span or mental ability to sit at the computer even though all the ideas for all the different stories are still rolling around in my head trying to get out. Since I am only babysitting and subbing right now I'm going to force myself to sit and write for a little while each day. Thank so much to those who are still discovering my stories, reading them, and letting me know your thoughts. You have no idea how encouraging it is to me. I feel like I've written something worthwhile. I will try to update as soon as I can. Again thank you everyone- you guys are awesome. :-) ~Mercy 11/19/06: I know, I know. I haven't written a darn thing in ages. But contrary to popular belief I have not quit writing. This has just been a hard semester for me. I've been sick since September with a sinus infection that caused me to sleep all the time (still not sure how I made it through classes!). I'm better now, but there is just so much work to do before finals. Thanksgiving break is just three days away, and I hope to write some then, but... I also have several school project to work on as well. Ah, who knew it was so hard to become a teacher! I will be working on Ashes of Eden first (I hope the tP readers haven't forgotten that this one existed!). But once student teaching begins, the writing will probably cease until summer. I apologize for leaving you lovely readers in such a lurch. How terrible am I! 09/14/06: I want to say a big thank you to everyone who is still reading and reviewing stories that I have not updated in ages. I am now in my final year of college and the workload has increased substantially. I am trying to continue writing as much as possible, but sometimes writer's block and work make it hard to find time to sit and write. Please continue letting me know that you are still reading. Not only do I really appreciate it, it also helps me prioritize what I work on. Also any suggestions of where you would like to see a certain story go I would love to hear. Sometimes I've changed directions in a story or don't care for the current one but don't know where to go next. Your thoughts and ideas would be very helpful. Please feel free to send me a message sometime. I love hearing from my readers! So here is the list of stories that I will currently be working on updating. I've chosen these due to reader's response: Mad Max Where Devils Dare To Tread: Trying to flesh out story lines and figure out exactly where this is heading. seaQuest DSV: The Saga- Tell No Secrets, Tell No Lies: This is one of the first stories I ever wrote and since reader response has been strong I'm trying to finish this. The Pretender: Ashes of Eden: This is a personal project that I really want to finish, but one I've still got writer's block over. :-p Autumn of Philadelphia: I am trying to finish this one for the readers who have been following it and are still reading in spite of no updates in nearly a year.
