NOTE: An edited version of HPMM is posted at my Yahoo! Group, linked above.

17/07/05: Oh wow. Come on, people - was HBP worth the wait, or was it worth the wait? Granted, the ending is...not quite what I expected. However, I would like to take this opportunity to say something to everyone who's ever called me an idiot for being a H/G shipper.

HA! WE WERE RIGHT! HOW DO YOU LIKE THEM APPLES, HUH? HUH?

11/07/05: -grins sheepishly- Sorry about the long absence, folks - I've just moved again and we've only just got the Internet back on. Expect a few updates soon. Not that anyone's going to be remotely interested with the release of HBP so close...meh.
Also, over the last few weeks I've had a few invitations to join various C2 groups. Sorry guys, but I've neither the time nor inclination to be bothered with them. As far as I'm concerned they're a ridiculous waste of space - the same thing can be done more easily and with greater flexibility with a favourites list.

Well, what to say about myself? I'm a male 20 year old ex-writing student with a HP fixation. I'm a Ravenclaw. As if any of you didn't know, I'm a proud Australian, hailing from Melbourne (okay, fine...I'm now living in Perth. But I came FROM Melbourne...so nya).

I'm usually a H/G shipper, although lately I have this weird thing for Harry/Gabrielle Delacour fics. Odd, I know, especially since I've only found one good one so far, and it's not even posted on ff.net anymore. As far as I'm concerned, H/Hr is slightly incestuous - although I will read a fic with that pairing if it's really good.

As anyone who's read my fics will probably be well aware, David Eddings is the single biggest influence on my writing. I love his works, and I have every series he's written to date - a total of 23 books, by my count. Other major influences are, of course, JK Rowling, Raymond Feist, with a bit of Douglas Adams thrown in when I'm in a weird mood.

Now, since I'm bored stupid with nothing better to do...some random stuff.

Car: Currently driving a VN Commodore. If you have no idea what that is, then you're obviously not an Aussie. Holden rules. Skaife for the V8 Supercar Championship!
AFL: Demons, of course. "It's a grand old flag, it's a high flying flag, it's the emblem for me and for youuuuuu! It's the emblem of the team we love, the team of the red and the bluuuuuue!" Okay, shutting up now. Ahem.
Rugby: Suprisingly, the Canberra Raiders. That, and the Paramatta Eels. Go figure.
Music: Mostly listen to Blink-182, Good Charlotte, Matchbox Twenty, Metallica, Greenday, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Killing Heidi, Nickleback, Evanescence, Michelle Branch, Rage Against the Machine. As you can see, I'll listen to pretty much anything that isn't "teenie bopper". -shudders-
Fav Game: Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn. Neverwinter Nights is good, but it just doesn't have the same depth. My best character so far is a L33 Sorcerer named Milamber, and a L32 Paladin (Undead Hunter) named Jonas. Sound familiar, anyone? Also a massive fan of the Resident Evil series, as you can see from the fact that I'm writing an RE fic.

Opinion of...
America: This one comes up all the time, and I think the easiest way for me to answer it is that while I like the people - I have quite a few American friends - I happen to hate the government, and most particularly George W Shrub. Why on earth you lot voted him back in is completely beyond me - he cheated his way into his first term, started what had the potential to escalate into World War III, and so on and so forth. Of course, we voted for Johnny "Monkeyman" Howard (well, I certainly didn't), so I suppose I can't really talk.
Hufflepuffs: I'm dating one. 'Nuff said.
Star Wars: Fanatic. Revenge of the Sith rocked. Anakin is a twit. How DARE he do that to Mace Windu? And the younglings? Grr...
The Matrix: Also fanatic. Morpheus kicks arse. So does Niobe. And Ghost. And Tank. And...well, you get the idea.
Photographs: Spawn of Satan. No arguments. Unless they're of someone else. Preferably my girlfriend. :) Although she hates photos too...

Anyway, I think that's enough randomness for now. I'm sure you're all thrilled to hear that. -rolls eyes-
