Author has written 38 stories for Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, King’s Blades, and Doctor Who. About Me (in short): I am a lieutenant in the US Navy, currently stationed with the pre-commissioning crew of the future USS INDEPENDENCE (LCS 2). As such, my writing gets spotty at times--duties in the Navy are capable of interfering with anything, but I do not stop writing. About My Stories: I've written in many fandoms, but my current fixation is Doctor Who--for anyone who hasn't seen it and likes fantasy/scifi/plain great characters and good stories, I highly suggest it. My roommate got me hooked, and I'm writing there like mad. Coming soon (upon the completion of Red Bicycle) is my series War By the Numbers, a saga of the Last Great Time War, which begins in Playing Hero. It's a massive project (encompassing all of the Whoverse since the First Doctor) that looks to rival the Unbroken Universe in size and scope. Also upcoming is a small series called Third Chance, which picks up where Series 4 of New Who left off, where the Duplicate Tenth Doctor isn't quite what anyone expected, and Rose must face the consequences of being left behind with him. Enter the Valeyard: the distillation of all the evil, madness, and darkness the Doctor is capable of. Third Chance That said, many of you know me mostly from the Unbroken Universe, or "UU". If you're a late comer to my stories, the UU is an AU that begins when Sirius becomes James and Lily Potter’s Secret Keeper, inadvertently changing everything. We begin in 1991, as Harry’s first year at Hogwarts begins, but this is not a simple rewrite of canon. The UU is a completely different set of events that illustrates how many changes can take place when the world has been at war for twenty years…and that one choice can change everything. What makes the UU different? At the end, it is a story of friendship. Of four friends who could have faced anything, so long as they stood together. In canon, we see the “Marauders” break apart. In the UU, we see them come together. This is not Harry Potter’s story, though Harry plays an important role. It is the story of four friends. Below is the suggested reading order for the main stories of the Unbroken Universe. The oneshots can be read in almost any order, though I suggest reading those in the order they were originally posted. Promises Honored (in progress) 1. Promises Unbroken What else am I working on? Well, the answer to that question is never simple. I am (always!) working on a story in my own original universe, tentatively titled Night Rider and promising to become (as usual) much larger than I’ve ever intended. In fanfiction, I am also sporatically writing an AU based in The King’s Blades, by Dave Duncan (a marvelous series if you’ve never read it), entitled Harvest Rebound. The first few chapters are posted, and the story is ongoing. In the UU, I am working on Promises Honored, the prequel to the trilogy, which tells the story of Sirius' years in Azkaban and the middle years of the war. Sailor Sol, Telepwen and I are also still working on Promises Mistaken, the Alternate Unbroken Universe story, though it is somewhat on hiatius (it is posted here under the username of "the SARS Entity").
