Author has written 15 stories for A Clockwork Orange, Harry Potter, Batman, and Batman Begins/Dark Knight. Greeting my little Snicker Doodles :D
Ch-Ch-Check it out, my love birds. I recently made a Tumblr page, I thought it'd be fun. And now, ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Zebras and Platypuses! Gather round for the most spectacular moment of your life! (I kid, I kid) My name is Corina and below you will find magical information about me! (I know you're overcome with excitement but please! Calm down ;p) So I have a deep passionate love for the 1920s-1960s: Music, Fashion, Hollywood, Movies etc. My favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz, and I don't need sugar to get hyper--I'm a natural. :D I absolutely adore Malcolm McDowell, his coolness is literally too much for this world. I would fan girl if I ever met him. I love singing and watching old Hollywood movies, I enjoy being with my friends and family. My idol is my teacher; Mrs. Gaskins. Oh, and my favorite color is pink. My favorite classic movies are as follows: Wizard of Oz, Meet me in St. Louis, Easter Parade, Singing in the Rain, A Streetcar Named Desire, Calamity Jane, Please Don't Eat the Daisies, Gone with the Wind, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?, Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte, Breakfast at Tiffanys, My Fair Lady, Funny Girl, Hello Dolly,The Gold Rush, The Great Dictator, Some Like it Hot, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Bus Stop, Seven Year Itch, Sunset Boulevard, Cabaret, Now Voyager,Disney's Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins, City Lights, The Court Jester, A Clockwork Orange. My heart's desire is to build a time machine, I will then wait until I am 18 years old (because then I'll be legal, and my birthday is literally a month away) then I will transport myself back to 1970-1971 and meet the young, delicious Malcolm McDowell. The rest will be history. My favorite color is pink. Not bright obnoxious pink, no. I love soft, gentle pink. The kind that you put in a baby girl's bedroom :) I generally love pastel, soft colors. For example, I prefer lavender to royal purple. I love the Lolita fashion (please don't get Vladimir Nobakov's brilliant novel and the Japanese fashion mixed up. I knew it first as the fashion and only later as the novel. Thank God I didn't go around telling people I wanted to be a Lolita *shudder*) and cute things in general. By cute I mean (speaks in overly cutesy girlish squeal) "Kawaii!" Ya know that stuff that has those expressions like X3 and . all over it? Chyeah! I love sparkles, ribbons, lace, and ruffles. My most favorite people: Judy Garland, Marilyn Monroe, Bette Davis, Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland, Charlie Chaplin, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Judy Garland, Walt Disney, Heath Ledger, Jane Russel, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, Liza Minnell, Lea Michele, Tom Felton, Emma Watson, Judy Garland, Vivian Leigh, Clark Gable, Malcolm McDowell {He's such a bad ass}, Judy Garland, Judy Garland, and...Judy Garland...and Malcolm Mcdowell {*Swoon*} Wait, crap I forgot to mention I love Judy Garland. :p Television: Modern Family, 2 Broke Girls, New Girl, Glee, The Middle, Raising Hope, Drop Dead Diva, Criminal Minds, I Love Lucy, The Addams Family (1960s), That's so Raven, Good Luck Charlie, and Grimm. My Strengths: I am sensitive, polite, refined, kind, and mature. Here's something else I love about myself; I'm mature and refined enough to carry a conversation with my mom's friends and talk about serious issues but I'm also imaginative and playful and creative enough to still be able to walk through those pearly gates of children's fantasy games. My Weaknesses: I am stubborn, passive-aggressive, painfully shy at times, and I'm a horribly picky eater. Favorite Quotes "A day without laughter, is a day wasted"--Sir Charles Chaplin "We all want to help one another. Human beings are like that. We want to live by each other's happiness, not by each other's misery."--Sir Charles Chaplin "No one ever told me I was pretty when I was a little girl. All little girls should be told they're pretty, even if they aren't"--Marilyn Monroe "What do I wear in bed? Why, Chanel No. 5, of course."--Marilyn Monroe "Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world"--Marilyn Monroe "For it was not into my ear you whispered, but into my heart. It was not my lips you kissed, but my soul."--Judy Garland "Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else."--Judy Garland "The best time I ever had with Joan Crawford was when I pushed her down the stairs in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?"--Bette Davis "I often think that a slightly exposed shoulder emerging from a long satin nightgown packs more sex than two naked bodies in bed."--Bette Davis "Oh, don't let's ask for the moon. We've already got the stars"--Bette Davis "For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone."--Audrey Hepburn "I believe in pink. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner. I believe in kissing, kissing a lot. I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."--Audrey Hepburn "I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person."--Audrey Hepburn "The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman grows with the passing years."--Audrey Hepburn "I was born with an enormous need for affection, and a terrible need to give it."--Audrey Hepburn "The most important thing is to enjoy your life - to be happy - it's all that matters"--Audrey Hepburn "Everything I learned I learned from the movies"--Audrey Hepburn Music that makes me feel like not feel killing people!: Judy Garland, Diana Ross & The Supremes, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Jackson 5, Ella Fitzgerald. | |||||||
