(i think this goes without saying but i just thought i should be polite and use proper fanfiction etiquette :p ) Well HAI! :D welcome to my page, fellow gang member! :D ~my personal beliefs about fanfiction~ 1. I am a fanfiction purist. I am not a huge fan of Alternate Universe fics, I don't like OC's and crossovers are not my cup of tea. If you like/write/read these kinds of fanfiction thats fine with me but I will probably never write or read any of these. *shrug* but that's just me. 2. A good fanfiction writer does not shab the entire plot of the original story. Our job is to be sneaky, creative and find loopholes that we can use to our advantage and see how much we can make out of the little we are given. That's what makes fanficiton art. 3. All fanfiction is a result of frustration caused by a cannon story line. You should ALWAYS let your frustration out. haha 4. Don't let a little research get in the way of a story you want to write. Screw cannon! That's why we do what we do! 5. Fanfiction is to take something you love and make it yours...without stealing! So take it as an opprotunity to be a part of something bigger than yourself. 6. Character action and thought is completely up to the fanfic author's interpretation of that character's personality and is subject to the situations they put them in. I am not very tollerant of OOC accusations. Yes, it is possible to have a character so out of character that it is distracting or unbelievable but really think about it before you label something OOC! Also, proud slash fan girl!
