Author has written 13 stories for MacGyver, Stargate: SG-1, Castle, White Collar, Psych, Chuck, Supernatural, and Leverage. Hello, my name is CelticKnot12, and I'm addicted to writing. It really all started as a hobby... Random stories featuring battles, gophers, and amoebas (don't ask, you really just don't want to know). And, um, not necessarily in the same story. Anyways, writing started to be a bit more of a publicized (... on FanFiction...) interest. I started writing a Robin Hood story for my friend, and because of the storyline of the TV show, it just seemed suitable that it go on the internet for other traumatized souls. After we edited the first story, writing became a dual effort, thus, now, everything written by either me or SupremeCommanderOfPencils has become sort of a group effort. I confess a certain addiction to TV shows – and you know how some people say that television melts your brain and makes it into a mushy, gelatinous goop? Well, it’s untrue. At least, I hope it’s untrue. Let me get back to you on that. In all seriousness, though, while you’d think that having everything laid out in front of your eyes would be bad for the creative process, it has actually been an energizer for my imagination. I find stories in my life, stories in others’; I can create a story on a whim, and they all largely make sense. I think that so long as media doesn’t stop you from thinking, and instead creates a scenario in which you have to formulate your own thoughts, ideas, or opinions, it’s not turning your brain to mush. Though Sudoku puzzles probably help. On the topic of what will be posted, these things will probably fit into my obsessions. Obsessions include: Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, MacGyver, Psych, Castle, Chuck, Sanctuary, Leverage, White Collar, Criminal Minds, Covert Affairs, Bones, and other various and sundry science fiction shows and crime procedurals. Don’t judge me. You know you love them too. I also really appreciate reviews, whether simply commenting on the story or helpful criticism. If you like my stories, take a look at SupremeCommanderOfPencils' profile, where more of our stories are posted. You can review for her too. And if you're really, really fascinated by my writing (which, who knows, if you've read my profile this far, you could be) you can follow me on Twitter: @CelticKnot12. Easy enough to remember, eh? Well, thanks for reading my profile, and don't forget the stories that are just a wee bit farther down! Hopefully you can find something that suits your fancy. :) June 20, 2012 Just a slight update to let you know where I stand on those lovely WIPs down below. I have a love/hate relationship with them. For the most part, I like the stories as they are, however, I absolutely suck at updating the things. So a WIP is never going up on here again. Ever. As for the ones presently on my page, I hope to finish them... eventually... once this terminal case of writer's block goes away. | |||||||
