Author has written 4 stories for Pokémon, and Princess Diaries. Hello, and welcome to my profile! :) Anime I watch (in order from most recent to oldest): -Kaichou wa maid-sama! Not kinky at all, the way the title suggests! The maid thing is because Misaki works part-time at a maid-cafe to pay off debts for her family, and it's become more of a sub-plot in the story...well, now that I think of it, the maid cafe has become more of a cosplay cafe. Anyway! This anime is hilarious (without having to overuse sexual innuendo!), and so cute, too! And I'm talking more than just the romance; I'm not one to call anime "adorable", but yes, this one is! I've become obsessed! Unfortunately, it only has season 1 in anime, so I had to read the rest from manga. But I love the way Misaki and Usui's relationship develops in a way that is pretty convincing, with all the complicated feelings and uncertainty. It's because of this manga that I've decided to give shoujo manga a chance... -Naruto People assume that it's stupid and goofy, which it may seem at first, but it's actually gotten really serious with serious themes and ideas and a million plot twists. Everyone - and I mean everyone, even the minor characters that only appear for like one episode - have complicated background stories and pasts. It's also pretty sad, too. I'm getting kind of annoyed with the manga because I feel like Naruto is becoming somewhat of a Mary-Sue (I miss the little kid one, he was so loveable and huggable!), and I hate the war arc because it kind of bores me, but I keep reading anyway, just in case... -Cardcaptor Sakura Haven't watched this in a while, but I liked it. It had a lot of magic in it, and a little bit of romance between Sakura and Syaoran, though I realize now that they were like...ten, or something. Still, it was sweet! But now that I think about it, some of the characters were a little typical... -Pokemon Don't know if this counts as anime, and it's been forever since I've really watched a whole bunch of it, but it was my childhood! I watch it again once in awhile because I like the nostalgia it gives me. Though I didn't really like the DP saga, and the BW one is so bad that I pretend it never existed. Cheesy and childish sometimes, but still. Childhood! Main Pairings I Support: -SasuSaku (Naruto) OTP! Angsty pairing, very angsty. But Sakura's always loved Sasuke and tried her best to help him, and Sasuke needs some love after having watched his whole family slaughtered by his beloved older brother when he was only 7 years old. And now finding out that it had been under orders and practically being driven to insanity. They have a strange, complicated relationship, which I think is what I appreciate. They were teammates, but not exactly friends, though Sasuke did care for Sakura. And now that Sakura is stronger and doesn't fangirl over him anymore, I like to wonder about what would happen if (when) Sasuke returns to Konoha. -Misaki/Usui (Kaichou wa maid-sama!) Very fun to watch these two, because the guy-hating, overachieving "demon president" from the student council is always getting flustered from Usui "messing with her", then proceeds to hit him. What's interesting is that they aren't stereotypical; Usui is the popular, good-looking and distant guy, but he's not really arrogant; he's quiet around everyone but Misaki, whom he flirts with and is really sweet to. And once Misaki admitted that she liked him, she started openly showing that she cared for him and working hard to help him however she could. -Misaki/Igarashi Tora - In a kind of one-sided way, because I like the rich boy's soft spot for her and the way he acts around her, kind of rude and insulting when he's around her, calling her "interesting", but secretly doing favors for her and helping her out without anyone knowing. Pokeshipping/Contestshipping/Oldrivalshipping (Pokemon) Too lazy to write about right now, so I'll do it later! :) | |||||||||
