Author has written 3 stories for Dragonriders of Pern series. I'm a dreamer living in the middle of nowhere in a small town in Wyoming, dreaming of moving to the middle of nowhere away from towns. I have a lab cross puppy, four loving (and demanding) cats, one buff orpington/barred rock rooster and thirteen hens (two buff orpingtons, one lacy wyandotte, four black astrolops, four barred rocks, and two mixed breed). They keep me sane when they're not driving me crazy. I haven't had TV for about five years now, because I just couldn't deal with all the commercialism and gratuitous sex and meaningless unneccessary violence. I know it all exists, and needs to be dealt with, but the underlying messages I keep seeing are just plain frightening. And I decided to do something else with my time. What else can you do while watching TV? Hoping for constructive criticism (please be kind) to further my dreams of independence. Working on an original fiction (aren't most of us?) and this forum is helping to build confidence and opening my mind to more ideas. And thoroughly enjoying reading stories on several fanfiction sites! | |||||||
