I'm a eighteen-year-old girl with a love for reading, writing, and drawing. It took me fourteen years to figure out that when I took characters from universes I'd read about or seen and made up stories about them, that it was called "fan fiction." It took me another year and a half to decide I actually wanted to share those stories I liked to make up. So here I am. I tend to cycle through my interests - for about a month or so I will become unduly obsessed with a specific fandom, then get interested in another one. Some of them come back around in time, and some of them appear for a little while and then never show up again. My recurrent obsessions include Star Trek, X-Men, Batman, the Lord of the Rings, and Discworld. I am usually captivated by character as opposed to plot, and I love extended metaphor and symbolism. I also like to have very structured stories - you may notice some interesting stylistic choices in my writing, but I find that it tends to help become more creative within constraints. Yes, I am a shipper (who isn't?), but I don't tend to write a lot of shipping fic here. Def P.S. Interested in my fan art, too?
