I'm Adrienne Wolter. I write slash, usually in the Potter fandom,
though I've ventured into a few other fandoms. I'm a fifteen-year-old
female aspiring writer; what I write is usually either very short
original fiction stories, fan fiction one-shots, and poetry. However, I
am rewriting a novel that I'm hoping to finish and rewrite (yeah,
again, my writing style keeps improving) by the end of 2005. I've also
been known to start very long, chaptered fan fictions, and as of yet,
haven't finished any. The first was almost 200 pages long and featured
a Mary Sue, and I eventually got bored; I stopped writing it in the
fall of 2002, about the same time I really got into HPSS.
I've got two HPSS stories going now, and I will finish
them both if it kills me. I won't die on Switched, even though
sometimes it feels like a chore to continue it - I really do love the
storyline, but my writing style seems to change every chapter. Side
Effects is a newer story and hopefully won't take so much time to
complete; I'd like to keep my chaptered stories fast-paced from now on.
Besides HPSS, I like venturing into unusual pairings or scenarios
(examples of unusual scenarios can be found in the two stories
mentioned above, lol), and my other favorite slash pairings include
PWNL, PWHP, and RWSS. However, I am a very loyal HPSS-slasher and very
rarely read any other pairings. (I don't have time to anymore, either.
:( )
When I finish Switched (I will NOT be posting it before finishing, or
I'll kill Switched with disinterest...) will come another wonderfully
complex chaptered story, featuring the pairing RWSS. Woot.
My life isn't all about fan fiction though, and other than being an
aspiring writer, I am a website designer (soon to be located at
fogbutton.com, but nothing's there yet) and am learning ColdFusion and
hopefully will eventually learn Flash. I play the cello in my high
school's orchestra, and I also sing in the choir. I'm a part of the
gifted program, and most all of my classes are honors classes. (Go me!)
My best friends tend to be ones through the internet, but I am finally
developing an in-person social life. Life is an adventure, and I'm
determined to enjoy me, because life is short and I want to make a
difference in the world, somehow.

Works in progress:
-Switched (HP - HP/SS slash) - Unfinished wards wreak havoc.
Side Effects (HP HP/SS slash) - A potion's accidental side effects
were passed down an ancient bloodline for centuries, before they
reached the one that needed them. Will not be as long as Switched, or at least won't take as long to complete.
A War of Two Kinds (HP - HP/SS slash) - I had this crazy storyline
worked out where Flitwick died and set up a mystery around him, and of
course the trio jumped right into it - and learned that war is a harsh
reality. However, it's dead. If you want to continue it, feel free.
Tell me and I'll link you; make sure you let people know that I wrote
the first three chapters, though.
Complete:
-Graduation (HP - RW/SS slash) - One-shot: Ron needs to do something
before he leaves Hogwarts for the last time. Plotless, pointless fluff
that really isn't my writing style at all. Based on a dream. Practice
for Four Hours, I suppose, but not good practice, lol.
To The Grave (HP - one-sided JP/SS slash) - One-shot: Albus knows
Severus harbors a very strong dislike of the Potters, but he doesn't
know just how deep it goes. Written while I was suspended.
The Healing of Severus Snape (HP - implied HP/SS slash) - One-shot:
Severus Snape suffered a cold life, but one boy can make it all worth
it. Describes the events of Severus' life from a rather vague point of
view. Guess you could say it leaves a bit to the imagination.
Meaningless Impulses (HP - Harry/Severus slash) - One-shot: Harry
wants to talk about something that Severus desperately does not want
to. Not in the same universe as the Reassurances and Insecurities set.
Eh... fluff? Not really any plot to it.
Forever (HP - no pairing) - One-shot: Tom Riddle, a bitter soul who
hasn't really forgiven himself for events of over fifty years ago. Even
Dark Lords suffer from haunting memories.
Reassurances (HP - implied Harry/Severus slash) - One-shot: Harry's side of the events in Insecurities.
Insecurites (HP - Harry/Severus slash) - One-shot: Poor Severus is stuck in his head, jealous of Ginny.
A Good Reason (HP - implied Draco/Harry slash) - One-shot: A monologue
from Draco's point of view, musing about life and fascination.
Love And Hate (ATBG - Carl/Blake slash) - This one is based on a dream
I had months ago... yessss I have fan fiction dreams... and it's
actually pretty original, methinks. We seriously need some more good As
Told By Ginger stuff here so that ATBG gets its own category. Whoo!
Switched: Reflection (HP - no pairing) - A short and to-the-point mini
fic based on Switched's switchings... this one is about our dear
Neville.
Assume (Matrix - implied Neo/Smith slash) - I like this one, I think
I'm better at writing thought patterns of specific characters than I am
at writing actions of multiple characters (at least with Matrix,
whoa... talk about a hard genre for a thirteen-year-old, lol). This one
is one-shot because I can't write the actual Neo/Smith stuff. Whoo.
Be My Valentine? (HP - HP/DM, RL/SS slash) - a completely plotless
story that I wrote while at the peak (or shall I say, pit) of writers'
block.
Assumptions (HP - PW/NL slash) - Hey, I think it's cute.
Unfortunately, I got some of my facts wrong (ugh! I get an idea the
weak I loan out book four...), but it still seems to work. "
Coming soon:
-Four Hours (HP - RW/SS slash) - When Ron gets fed up with the current
time, he finds his ex-girlfriend Hermione's time-turner to go back to
the past, and unwittingly falls in love, changing the future
dramatically while he's at it. Character death (and, err, lots of it).
Will become R. SLASH. It's destined to be a very long story, and I'm
almost done with a very detailed outline, so it will also have
direction. Whoa.
Title? (HP - HP/SS slash) - I had an idea in a dream for a slightly-AU
HPSS fic in which there is a covered-up murder and a rebellious child,
but I dunno if I'll write it. I've been told it would make a good
story, if I have time to write it well.
