A FEW RATHER IMPORTANT NOTES

On the Overcoming Fears Series

I have learned to really hate this thing. I was pretty new to FanFiction when I started writing it, so Lexi was at least a borderline-Sue, the writing was shitty (well, shittier than my writing is now, anyway), the plotholes were numerous...it was a fiasco. It was cliched and irritating and somewhat tween-ish.

But people still like it. People actually read this thing that I think is totally horrible, and when I don't update for a while people start contacting me because they're concerned. It's mind-blowing. So I keep updating, because who wants to disappoint readers, right?

The problem with this is that I'm rarely actually inspired to work on the story the way I am with my other works. That means that updating is sporadic and oftentimes when I promise to update at one point it ends up being weeks later and I feel like a horrible person because I'm a liar.

And I'm doing that again. Right now.

The plus of me not updating Loop this July is that the chapter is going to be way longer than the first two - significantly longer, by a few pages at least. The minus is that, well, I don't update in July. It's going to be early-to-mid August, and I already feel like the worst person in the world for pushing the deadline and I give you all full permission to rant and rave at me via PM about being a crappy author, I swear I won't say anything back.

So that's all. It's going to be in August. I'm sorry, guys, but I just have too much shit to do, between soccer and preparing for high school and various other writing I'm doing.
