It's been a fun journey, but it's time for the climax which I'm very pleased with. "Ashes To Ashes" is next in line, for those of you who remember it. You will, once I get it running again. Some fun stuff's bound to shake loose! What else has been on hiatus? Whatever it is, I'm bound to get rolling again soon! The bug's bit; Maya is back in action. See you on the flip side! ~Maya Beebop ~~~ I am a highly creative individual. I have built intricate jewelry displays using nothing but wire coat hangers. I work better in chaotic places. I find inspiration in lava lamps. Ketchup disgusts me. I don’t cut in line. Once I babysat two children from 6 PM till 2:15 AM and did not fall asleep for fear of their safety. I take initiative. I believe in ghosts. I’ve never attempted anything I wasn’t sure I could do. I’ve played strip poker and won (or lost, depending on perspective). I’ve never smoked. I haven’t tried any drugs. I like to travel. Driving on the highway at night with good music blaring and the windows down and sitting shotgun is my idea of a romantic time. I’m a published writer. I don’t drink because beer, wine and champagne make me gag. Children trust me. I support women’s rights, but I laugh at misogynist jokes. I love leather jackets. I like hugs and covering people’s eyes and making them guess who it is. I give good back massages when I’m so inclined and I love to scratch people’s heads when I’m bored. Once I did so from 11:30 PM till 6:20 AM straight. I stay up to see the sun rise. The word "idiosyncrasies" makes me laugh. I don’t like rap, but I respect it if the message isn’t advocating drugs or prostitution or sex. I despise Michael Crawford’s voice with the burning passion of a thousand suns. I am an experienced actress on and off the stage. I’ve read more books than up to 5 of average high school students combined. I do not own an iPod. I do not own a cellphone. I love Chinese food. I write poetry and accept that 98 of it is no good. I respect my elders. I can spell "antidisestablishmentarianism" from memory. I can sing Barenaked Ladies’ "One Week" up to proper speed without tripping on the words. I build snowmen, and a lack of snow is no obstacle for me. My superhero name would be "Vertigo" and I would be able to change your focus of gravity. I own a vast array of plastic swords. I don’t like being given expensive jewelry. Glowing things excite me. I’ve never licked a battery. Sometimes I set my backyard on fire with me in it and I have not yet been burned. One time I was electrocuted. I was technically dead for twelve minutes when I was eight.
