Ongoing Stories:

Painting Flowers: A collection of Zoro/Nami themed oneshots and drabbles. The plan is to make 64, hopefully. Some are AU, some are canon. Ratings range from K to T.

Job Exchange: A humor story starring the Straw Hat Pirates, with nakamaship included of course. I have it all planned, and updates shouldn't take too long. It's an AU, no pairings.

Cherry Cigarette: A Sanji/Sakura crossover story. Only five more chapters to go! Ongoing, slowly but ongoing.

Stories on Temporary Hiatus:

Neightbours: A Sanji/Robin story, set in a modern day AU where these two are neightbours, along with various others. I like the story and know where it's headed towards, but I just can't get myself to write it. So it's on hiatus. For now.

Dear Authors: Series of parody letters about fanfiction authors. To be honest, I lost interest at this, but I might just do a couple more... This is not my life: A Zoro/Nami AU story (I love these) in which Kuma sends Zoro to another world, in which there are no regrets or past sins, seemingly perfect. But Zoro finds perfect!Nami... unnerving. Inspired by Higurashi's Dice Killing arc, expect A LOT of (justified) OoC, including Alpha Bitch!Vivi and Yandere!Kuina.

Bromance: A Zoro/Nami/Sanji story (who gets Nami in the end is a mystery, even for me) in which the trio heads towards the city where everything was possible: Las Vegas. However, feelings surface on the way there, feelings that they certainly weren't expecting...

A Stray Cat: An AU set after Storm of Swords, in which Arya heads to Braavos after leaving the Hound, but ends up in Meereen instead, and serving a Queen who wasn't much older than Sansa. My first attempt at writing ASOIAF, expect it soon!

With my sis (Kawaii Neko Nami), we found a little activity on lj and decided to play it. We chose three fandoms for each other and answered a set of pre-established questions about that fandom. Here are mine!

One Piece:

01. The first character I fell in love with:

That would be Luffy. Ever since episode 1, since the very moment he showed that carefree attitude and that bluntness when he talks to people (like when he met Coby and Alvida). Plus, how could I not love Luffy? He’s so full of awesomeness!

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Robin. She was cool at the beginning and a badass villain, I liked her but I didn’t love her… or at least not like I do now! She’s my favorite character in the whole anime/manga world now! Her backstory, her morbidity, her blunt responses, her badassness, her cool powers, her beauty and intelligence, her cool, cold responses to everything that happens, her everything! *.*

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't:

Hm… I think that’s Kid. I don’t hate the guy… I just don’t love him either. He’s just sort of… there. For the moment. Maybe when we see more of him my opinion will change…

04. The character I love that everyone else hates:

Nami. I don’t think she’s hated a lot, but I did meet a couple of fans who didn’t like her due to her violent attitude and how she uses the crew to get money. Whatever, haters gonna hate…

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer:

Ah, that would be Kuro. I haven’t even mentioned him in my stories in a long time, and he was a very good villain; the first actual bad and strong villain the SH encounter. And he deserves more love!

06. The character I would shag anytime:

Oh dear… I think that would be Sanji-kun… there’s also Zoro and post-timeskip Usopp, but that would be just physical. I think Sanji would take it special and be caring…

07. The character I'd want to be like:

I want to be like all of them, dammit! All the Straw Hats are full of awesomeness, I’m jealous! *flips desk*

08. The character I'd slap:

Spandam. Although he did get the best b!tch slap ever by Robin so… I think I’ll choose Tashigi. Not that I hate her, don’t get me wrong, but she does need it to listen and understand why Zoro doesn’t fight her. Although we need to see if she changed over the timeskip (apart from her physical appearance… and about that, wow she has boobs now! :O)

09. A pairing that I love:

Zoro x Nami. ZoNa. Zoro/Nami. Call it however you want to. I'm crazy about these two together, their relationship and their love/hate dynamic is a unique combination. You know the saying, “from hate to love there’s only a step…”

10. A pairing that I hate:

Luffy x Nami. I don’t hate it per se, I just can’t see it happening. And I seriously can’t stand fangirls screaming at me “it will happen!!1!”, I actually hate the last thing more than the actual pairing. I just can't see them together, it feels… weird.

11. Favorite character:

Robin, for being so awesome and for all the reasons listed in 2.

12. My five favorite characters:

Robin (*.*), Nami (the witch rocks!), Sanji (how can any lady resist him? He’s so charming and lovable!), Zoro (his sense of direction and his laziness are his best moments, but his got those badass moments that completely blow one’s mind too, like in TB…) and Franky (he’s just too SUPER!)

13. My five least favorite characters:

Spandam (do I really need to say why?), Arlong (seeing Nami’s past and not hating him should be a crime!), Hody Jones (I seriously can’t stand this guy), Sazakuzi/Akainu (his actions in Ohara and Marineford really speak for themselves…) and Blackbeard (he needs to get his butt kicked. Like, now)

14. Which character I am most like:

I think I’m kind of like Vivi. Serene, calm and easy-going, but passionate about what I love and caring for those that matter to me. Oh, and like her, I fight to the fullest for those who I love.

15. My deep, dark fandom secret:

I like to ship Sanji with every female in the OP universe, from Robin, Nami and Vivi to Conis, Bonney and Kuleha. He just goes well with every one of them! No yaoi pairings though, unless it’s really well written…

Fairy Tail:

01. The first character I fell in love with:

Erza Scarlet. She’s hilarious! XD When she started randomly headbutting guards on the Lullaby arc, I knew she would become one of my favorite characters.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Juvia Loxar. I thought she was just a momentary villain, but she ended up being so much more! She’s the most funny character in the whole series! Seriously, every scene with her is just so freaking hilarious! And her sad backstory only makes me love her more! :D

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't:

None. I really like all characters shown to the moment. Although I still have to see more of Sting and Rogue to decide about them, but to the moment let’s say I’m not their biggest fan…

04. The character I love that everyone else hates:

Lisanna Strauss. I really love her, but I hate to see her being turned of the object of hate of NaLu fans… she‘s not the b!tch of the story, dammit!

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer:

I still love them all, but I’m currently mad at Gray for accepting Lyon’s bet, so he just went down a couple of points :S

06. The character I would shag anytime:

Gray Fullbuster *.* He is so handsome! *rans away before Juvia catches her*

07. The character I'd want to be like:

Mirajane Strauss, she’s so calm and compassionate… and she’s an excellent advicer, something my friends sometimes tell me I’m not XD

08. The character I'd slap:

Flare Corona. She really needs to get slapped, her psycho expressions really freak me out!

09. A pairing that I love:

I debated between Jellal/Erza and Gray/Juvia for a while, because both are my favorite pairings in Fairy Tail… so I’m going with both. Gray/Juvia because they’re amazing together, have hilarious moments together, and behind all the fun and comedy relief situations, you can see they’ve got a thing going on. Like, you can see Gray isn’t exactly happy when Lyon flirts with Juvia… And Jellal/Erza because they go way back and their whole story together is so tragic and moving, and because they look cute together too, from the moment they were kids to today! Oh, and of course, because canon couples tend to be my favorites XD

10. A pairing that I hate:

Anyone/Erza and Jellal/Anyone. I like the pairing too much to actually ship them with someone else, I can’t see it working out XD

11. Favorite character:

That’s Lucy Heartfilia! She’s got those funny out-of-the-blue moments and expressions that make me lol, and she’s got a tragic backstory (what can I say, I have a weakness for the angst) which I sincerely adored and really moved me. I cried with the whole June thing in the X791 arc. Also, I think her magic is one of the coolest in the series, together with Erza’s, Fried’s and Ultear’s.

Zancrow (never liked the guys with God complex… unless they’re Enel .), Flare Corona (her expression speaks for itself), Sting (creeps the hell out of me), Azuma (never really liked him, strong but kind of boring) and Sugarboy (not much to say, I don’t like him much… and the voice they gave him in the anime didn’t help his case either).

None of them, although I do enjoy reading and writing as much as Lucy, so I guess that counts…

15. My deep, dark fandom secret:

I actually like Laxus/Lucy a lot. There’s always those hints there that make me think about them, like when Laxus grabs stone!Lucy in the Fighting Festival arc or when he imagined himself geting a lap dance from her… it’s an interesting pairing :D

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni:

01. The first character I fell in love with:

Rena Ryûgû. She’s so hilarious and adorable! (when she’s not killing people and stuff) So cute, I wanna take her home! XD

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Keiichi Maebara… I’m not the kind of person who falls directly for the main male protagonist, that’s actually very rare in me… but I loved him a lot more as the story progressed…

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't:

That’s a little hard to say, because there isn’t really a character I don’t like in the entire series… except Satoko’s uncle and aunt, but I have yet to meet a fan that doesn’t hate those two, so I guess this question will remain unanswered…

04. The character I love that everyone else hates:

Miyo Takano. I know, I know, there are various and very valid reasons why she’s hated on the fandom, but she’s a very interesting character with a very tragic story and I kind of like her. XP

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer:

Jirou Tomitake. He was interesting in the first arc of season 1, but as from there he became boring for me. This doesn’t mean I don’t like him, but I don’t love him either, he’s just sort of… there.

06. The character I would shag anytime:

07. The character I'd want to be like:

Rika Furude. I wish I had even a little of the strength she showed us, while dealing with a double personality and hoping that someday she would be free of her terrible destiny… she was truly the strongest character in the entire series for carrying such a heavy load on her own (well, Hanyuu was there, but still you get the point).

08. The character I'd slap:

Miyo Takano. I did say I like her, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve a slap to make her see that the way through which she tries to archive her goals is a very wrong one…

09. A pairing that I love:

Satoshi/Shion *.* I fell in love with it immediately, and it’s just so adorable (despite the whole killing incident) I can’t help but love it so much!

10. A pairing that I hate:

None really… except perhaps the twincest (Mion/Shion)? I’m not an incest fan that’s for sure, but I just don’t go anywhere near it and that’s it.

11. Favorite character:

Shion Sonozaki. She was one of the most interesting character in my opinion, and the arc she protagonized was one of my favorites too. Plus, her personality is so awesome, she’s full of win and fun! Not to mention she knows how to handle guns, and she’s badass at it ;)

Shion Sonozaki (pure awesomeness as I said before!), Satoko Hôjô (she’s hilarious, and has the best laugh EVER!), Rena Ryûgû (so amazing, and her story was one of the saddest…), Mion Sonozaki (I love her! She’s such a great leader and so funny!) and Rika Furude (aww she’s so cute! I wanna take her home! Also, she better grow boobs when she’s older, unless the author wants her to kill everybody! XD)

Teppei Hôjô, Tamae Hôjô, and Ritsuko/Rina... nothing more to say except that they're complete monsters (no surprise everyone hates them too...)

Despite the fact that I love Satoshi/Shion and Keiichi/Mion (and to a lesser extend, Keiichi/Rena), I also have a secret tendancy for Keiichi/Satoshi. I know, I know, they haven’t met each other and stuff, but in two of the Kira ovas they interacted and it was so interesting, I couldn’t help myself! And the scene with the yogur… do I need to say more? XP

A Song of Ice and Fire:

01. The first character I fell in love with:

Arya Stark. It's impossible not to love her, she's a total little miss badass, and she's only nine! (at the beginning of the series, at least)

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now:

Sansa Stark. I liked her in the beginning, but she wasn't quite there like her sister, specially after she to Cersei behind her father's back. Granted, she didn't know Cersei or Joffrey's true colors. But then she finds out. The hard way. Since the second book, she's quickly become one of my favorites, and now she's on the top 3 with Arya and Dany.

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't:

I think many people like Theon Greyjoy, and many others don't. But he's still loved among some fans. So I'll go with him. It's his fault Winterfell was destroyed, after all (well, 50% was Ramsay's fault too, but whatever...)

04. The character I love that everyone else hates:

Not that everyone hates her, but Sansa isn't very appreciated by some fans, or at least she wasn't until the fourth book, when she starts participating in the game of thrones along Littlefinger, so I'll go with her. As I said before, I love her!

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer:

Jorah Mormont. I liked him a lot more in the beginning than now... even if he went behind Dany's back, I still liked him. But when he started lusting for Dany in the third book, he started to look different in my eyes.

06. The character I would shag anytime:

Robb Stark (sure, I'm thinking of the sexy actor that plays him in the tv series right now, but still XD)

07. The character I'd want to be like:

Personality-wise, I think Sansa or Cersei. They both show a lot of strength to survive in a world filled by men who feel the need of "protecting the weaker sex", but they're strong and make it their own ways.

Joffrey Baratheon. Oh, so much. Clearly the Imp hasn't done it enough.

09. A pairing that I love:

Jon and Ygritte is competing with Sandor and Sansa for the first place, it's a very even match XD

Davos and Melisandre make a hot pairing. There, I said it now. (But then again, everyone makes a good pairing with Melisandre in my eyes...)

30 Days of Shipping!

Day 1: What is your current favorite ship?

My current favorite ship is and always will be Zoro/Nami from One Piece. They're just so adorable, and the later chapter even agrees with me, Zoro saves Nami again!! *insert fangirl squeal*

Day 2: What was your very first ship?

Well, that would be Ash Ketchum and Misty from Pokemon. Or was it Jessie and James? Either way, Pokemon was the first anime I got into as a little kid, and I even shipped them back then! (I still do XD)

Day 3: A pairing that needs to happen now.

Zoro/Nami. Oh, so much. I mean, come on, happen already :nowkissmeme: Also, Franky/Robin from the same anime. Or it already happened and Oda didn't tell us (he fell asleep on her lap and she was just smiling all calmly and happy :D)

Day 4: The pairing with the most chemistry.

Erza and Jellal from Fairy Tail. They're chemistry is so undeniable, it's impossible not to realize! They're canon for a reason you know...

Day 5: The pairing with the least chemistry.

Kakeru and Misuzu from 11 eyes never had any chemistry in my eyes. Maybe I'm just too much of a Kakeru/Yuka fan, but I never saw the appeal in this couple... Yuka does have reasons to be jealous though, Misuzu is gorgeous! (and she reminds me a little to Erza from FT)

Day 6: The best kiss.

Definitely Ryuuji and Taiga from Toradora!, in the final episode. It was so sweet and cute, 100% adorable! :D

Day 7: The most heartbreaking scene.

That would be in Higurashi, when Keiichi is shot by Takano and Mion holds his hand as he dies. I'm a HUGE Keiichi/Mion fan and this scene just broke my heart D:

Day 8: The pairing with the most baggage.

I think Gin Ichimaru and Rangiku Matsumoto. They have so much history together, and that end... it was so heartbreaking I was tempted to list it as number seven!

Day 9: The most believable relationship.

Isaac and Miria from Baccano! I mean, if you watch them you just know it, you will never find two people more fit for each other, they're the perfect match!

Day 10: Why aren’t these two married?

No, seriously, why aren't Jintan and Anaru married yet? They were so cute, one of the best things from Ano Hana! :D

Day 11: What is your dream pairing?

Zoro/Nami! *.* I keep praying every day that Oda will take pity on me and make this pairing happen (?)

Day 12: Who had the best wedding?

Yuki and Yuno from Mirai Nikki. Sure it wasn't a real wedding, but it was adorable, possibly the best Yuki/Yuno moment without her being all insane and stuff.

Day 13: What is your favorite movie pairing?

Hmm... that would be Annie and Noah from The Notebook. Dear Lord, they just couldn't be more adorable, could they?! *runs to watch it again*

Day 14: What is your favorite book pairing?

Ron and Hermione from Harry Potter. I shipped them as a kid, you could always see the unsolved tension there, and this pairing was so obvious from the second book onwards...

Day 15: What is your favorite real life pairing?

Well, that's a hard one. Not a big RPF fan, but I really like Michael Bublé and his wife, Luisana Lopilato. Why? Because I'm a big fan of him and his music, and I've admired her since I was younger and she played Mia in Rebelde Way (she's argentinean like me, you see), she's always been my role model and I'm glad they found happiness, they're cute :)

Day 16: What is the absolute worst pairing?

Joffrey and Sansa from A Song Of Ice and Fire. And she agrees with me! Something about being engaged to a complete monster is not fine with her...

Day 17: A pairing you never thought would work, but did.

I never thought Ladd and Lua from Baccano! could be something, I mean, Lua was practically his hostage, and he threatened to kill her every time their looks crossed. Who knew she was such a death seeker and fell in love with him, and him with her? :D

Day 18: What is the cutest pairing?

Argh, don't make me say it! Zoro/Nami from One Piece would be from the non-canon variety, but from canon pairings I'm torn between Ryuuji/Taiga and Keiichi/Mion XD

Day 19: A pairing you’ve rooted for since the beginning.

Since episode 6, I've rooted for Zoro/Nami. And after more than 500 episodes, I still do :D

Day 20: The can’t-stand-the-sexual-tension pairing.

Booth and Brennan from Bones. I mean, come on! Just make out already! (So happy they listened to this advice in the end :D)

Day 21: A pairing you like and no one else understands why.

Oh that would be Hoyt/Jason from True Blood. I'm crazy about them, but no one gets me XD

Day 22: A pairing you hate and no one understands why.

Kitamura and Taiga from Toradora! I think it's because I'm a big Ryuuji/Taiga fan, but maybe I just never sw the chemistry...

Day 23: A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out great.

Second season of Glee. Finn/Rachel/Blaine/Kurt. In the end, it worked out great, because Baline realized he wasn't into girls after being with Rachel and ended up with Kurt, while she ends up with Finn. Happy end for all! (Or at least until season 4 D:)

Day 24: A crazy love triangle/quadrilateral that worked out badly.

I think nothing explains this better than Kotonoha/Makoto/Sekai from School Days. It's what the anime's all about in the end, though. I just wished Kotonoha had killed Makoto instead of Sekai in the alternative ending, like Sekai did in the last anime episode. I really hated him, to be honest. Loved both girls though.

Day 25: A pairing that was/would-be adorable, but could never work out.

Naruto and Ino from Naruto. I could really see the appeal, both blondes look cute together, but it's impossible for it to happen. Naruto will end up with Hinata, or the other option in Sakura. Ino's not even in Kishimoto's picture. Too bad. (I still like Naruto/Hinata though, Naruto/Sakura... not su much XD)

Day 26: A pairing that you hated and ended up loving.

Rena and Takano from Higurashi. When I first saw the Ova where Rena falls for Takano I was like WHATT?! Yuri in Higurashi?! And then, bam, I ended up loving it. They have some moments I overlooked through the series, and I somehow ended up shipping them XD

Day 27: A pairing that you loved and ended up hating.

I used to like Al and Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist a lot, but as the series progressed I sided more with Ed/Winry, and ended up loving it in the end. Also, of a less cute variety, I liked Makoto and Kotonoha from School Days in the beginning, then he took a level in jerkass and bam, I wanted him dead :P

Day 28: A pairing that you will never understand.

I will never get the appeal behind Zoro and Robin from One Piece. You may call me a crazy fangirl obsessed over a pairing that will never happen such as Zoro/Nami, but I could never see what other people see in this pairing. Never understood it, and probably never will.

Day 29: What ship had the bed proposal?

Oh, Leonard/Penny from Big Bang Theory *snort* Porr Leonard, he's so adorkable XD
