Author has written 62 stories for Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, and Matrix. Once upon a time there was a girl, and she had a computer, and a copy of the Silmarillion. And when the girl, the computer, and the Silmarillion were in the same room together, it boded ill for any chance that she might actually revise. And so it came to be that Irish union was neglected, and, yea, even German humanist culture received not the attention of which it was so richly deserving... But, lo, from the ashes of this great cataclysm came riding forth the armies of dread ... the minions of the Muse, and at their head rose the Four Plot Bunnies of the Apocalypse: Angst, Fluff, Parody, and the the Eyebrows of Doom ... and between them they carried the poor benighted Author. And they came into the darkness, and there was light, but it was a terrible thing, for in that light were seen many Agents a-snarling, and elf-lords tormented by great sorrow and smut bunnies scurrying hither and thither, setting man on woman (well, usually Elrond on Celebrían) and man on man. And so it came to be that the Author was locked in a padded room and all instruments of dreaded fanfiction were taken away from her. But there are many things the compass of which man's mind has not. In the dead of night, when the jailors were sleeping, Maglor, son of Fëanor, crept into the room, bringing with him a laptop and an unlimited supply of floppy dics. And so it began again... | |||||||
