Time for me to make one of my oh-so-rare updates to this profile, which tend to come every 2-3 years. Amazingly, I've been visiting this site off and on for over 10 years now - which is frankly a little scary. That said, the lack of activity in the last few years indicates pretty clearly that it's been more off than on, and I'm no longer active on any other fandom/fanwork sites - so, for all intents and purposes I would pretty much consider myself retired from fandom these days.

I am mainly driving what little writing I do at the minute into my original works, so I have no current plans to make any further updates to any of the fics here, although I may post some additional fics if I manage to recover any of my older work that hasn't been posted - a computer crash lost the plans for any of my remaining ongoing works, so I couldn't really continue them even if I had the time/patience/inclination to do so.

By way of tying up some of the loose threads my unfinished fics have left, here's some FAQs I've been asked:
Q: What was the 'Legacy of Slytherin', anyway?
A: The story would have eventually seen Harry, Hermione and all four Weasleys return to the Chamber of Secrets, where they would have found the single greatest source of Voldemort's knowledge of the Dark Arts - a pensieve containing the memories of Salazar Slytherin.

Q: You do know that everything in 'The Day The Nightmare Ended' is utterly, irredeemably OOC, don't you?
A: Of course it is. If I remember rightly, it was written in response to a challenge on another site, and only posted here because people found it amusing. Even though, it's sadly more popular than some of my other, far superior, fics.

Q: Didn't you have more HP fanfics?
A: There used to be a HP 'Weakest Link' parody, which was by far my most popular fic, but this was culled years ago by one of the site's purges. There is still a copy on the Ginny Potter website, if anyone is curious, although it's at least as OOC as 'Nightmare'.

Q: Have you written fic for other fandoms than Blackadder and Harry Potter?
A: I've dabbled in a few briefly, including Stargate SG:1, The Matrix, Transformers, Heroes and Doctor Who. The latter is the only one I've managed to complete anything for, but I no longer have a copy of this, and the only site where I posted a copy closed down in 2010.
