Greetings and salutations, from the most sarcastic asshole in fanfic!

I've always had a problem with fanfics. I've just felt that I can't do other people's characters justice. Still, a challenge is what makes a writer better. Well, actually, my real excuse is that my motivation to work on my own stories is really shot right now, so I'm taking my frustrations out on other people's defenseless creations. I'm also a rather vehement reviewer, after having seen some incredibly bad fics around here get Happy Fun Reviews that reward Pure Evil with delicious candy.

Warning: I do not call myself The Awful Truth for nothing. I am an evil force that will brutally point out how much a particular fanfic is a crime to literature. Yeah, I know these are just fanfics, but dammit, put more effort into these things! If you think it sucks, don't bloody well post it! And if you think your writing rocks, you might want to be ready for a re-evaluation. I am simply sick of seeing stories that are nothing but another story ripped off and then mispelled. Hey, ripoffs can be good. But only if someone takes care when writing them.

I know writing is hard. Becoming a good writer is about as difficult as becoming a good -brain surgeon-. But if you're going to slaughter the written word, well, that's where I come in.

I do not claim to be a good writer myself. I'm simply good at spotting /bad/ writing. And when a bad writer gets nothing but "LOL this is funy", I fear they're going to continue along the path of literary massacre. Writing requires hardship. Consider me something of a natural disaster.

But if you have a problem with me, feel free to attack me as viciously as you want. Just be aware that I don't allow Anonymous Reviews. Isn't your Pen Name anonymous /enough/ for you?

UPDATE: I am now a mercenary reviewer. You can essentially ask me to review a story. Note that this IS me we're talking about, so you might get more than you bargained for. Can you survive The Awful Truth?
