Also, I have lately begun to branch out with knew, often completely random fandoms and have also returned to some older ones as well. All of my current ongoing works are: Because We're Two: A series of 'shots/drabbles set in the Batman Begins/TDK fandom. Gordon and Batman centric. No slash. Together We Stand: A series of 'shots/drabbles set in the The Eagle fandom. Marcus and Esca centric. No slash. 221B or Not 221B: A series of 'shots/drabbles/221Bs set in the Sherlock Holmes fandom. This series could possibly be considered "on hold" as I haven't heard from my Holmesian muse in quite a while. I'll update again eventually, though. This series is Watson and Holmes centric. No slash. Science and Shenanigans: A series of one-shots revolving around Bruce Banner and Tony Stark. Avengers fandom. No slash. (I'll be honest, most of these are on hiatus indefinitely because of college taking up all my time. I want to write more, but between essays and other college-related nonsense I either don't have the time, energy, or muse to do so. I'll be back eventually though guys.) My feelings on Slash Fic: I know this is something of a touchy subject these days, and while I have no desire to offend anyone I think I have the right to give my opinion. So no hate mail, please, and any that I get will be ignored and deleted ASAP. All you need to now is that I do not, nor will I ever, read/write slash fic. Everything you see on my profile will be either gen or non-graphic het (and you're not likely to find much - if any - het, either). One of the reasons that I am against slash is because I am a Bible-believing Christian and as such I find the very concept of slash and m/m or f/f to be wrong. End of story, plain and simple. My other reason for being against slash is that, to me, it just doesn't make sense. IMO to take a friendship such as the ones between Holmes and Watson; Athos, Porthos, Aramis, and D'Artagnan; Marcus and Esca; James Gordon and Batman; etc., etc., etc., is wrong, and it takes away from the real beauty of what those relationships really are: friendship. Brotherly love doesn't mean romance, in my book, and to take something as pure as the bond between brothers (blood or not) and to turn it into something sexual is just... well, like I said before, it's just wrong. Anyway, that's my stance and it's also why you won't find me reading or writing any slash even though the majority of my stories do revolve around male relationships, no matter which fandom I write for. BTW: Thomas "Tommy" Duncan from "Still My Hero" is one of my OCs and can be used with my permission. So if you'd like to use him (unlikely, but still) please send me a PM and ask me first.
