| May Fowl |
Author has written 1 story for Sherlock. Who am I? Err... Just let me look it up in my Facebook profile and then I’ll tell you. Name: Anna Marie Age: 18 Country: Czech Republic Don't panic. You may skip all this information about May. But you don't have to. I promise, if you go through it, you're gonna get a big vanilla ice-cream with chocolate chips! What I read I used to read almost everything including political leaflets. Then I got my mother’s computer and began to kill all my time with googling “WTF should I do with my life?!” However, even nowadays I like to drawn all my casual worries in a great book, especially when there’s a chocolate bar at hand. I grew up on HP-books, so hello you members of the famous Harry-Potter-generation! My favourite waters of the great Literature Ocean are fantasy and science fiction, but I also do enjoy poetry and compulsory school reading(!). Me and fanfiction While looking for some information about Harry Potter, at the age of twelve I found the Czech fanfiction site and felt in love with it. At once, there were so many possibilities, so many interesting stories and all my favourite characters in funny situations that would never ever happen in the books. I tried to write something myself, but the only things I've ever managed to finish were some odd poems. So I decided to abuse my muse and become a poet. There was no fanfiction in my life for a long time. Everything became painfully normal. Of course I knew there was also a big English fanfiction site but I thought my English was hardly sufficient for me to introduce myself. However, two years ago I found out that understanding isn't that bad, if you're really interested in the text you want to read, and became totally obsessed by English fanfiction. My beloved fandoms are Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Sherlock BBC and - newly - Merlin BBC. I love well written Hurt/Comfort, and femslash is my guilty pleasure. My favorite characters Harry Potter: Luna (This girl is just awesome!), Fred and George I can't convince myself and simply don't like Snape, no matter how much he loved Lily. In my opinion, he stays an ugly sadist, whom I merely pity. Artemis Fowl: Artemis, Butler, Juliet, Foaly and Holly (but I think all women in these books are kind of Mary-Sueish) Sherlock BBC: John, Molly, Lestrade Merlin: Arthur because of his teeth My favorite pairings Harry Potter: Draco/Ginny, Draco/Hermione, Sirius/Ginny, Sirius/Hermione, Sirius/OC, Voldemort/Belatrix, James/Lily, Severus/Lily, Harry/Ginny, Rose/Scorpius, Draco/Luna (I think it's a funny couple but I don't know any great fictions with this pairing, maybe because it's so mismatched...) and sometimes femslash Fleur/Hermione or Gabriella/Ginny. I do not seek for slash, but it doesn’t alarm me anymore. Artemis Fowl: Arty/Holly (I know, I know, there's the age difference, the species difference and the character difference - but I believe they were made for each other!), Arty/Juliet, Holly/Juliet, Opal/Opal (hahaha, this is just awesome!). I hate Holly/Trouble and anything slashy in this fandom. Sherlock BBC: Johnlock! How cute! (This awesome series is my highway to hell. It made me get used to slash. Well, “get used to” is just a weak description of reality. Once I’ve put on the violet glasses, I can see slash everywhere. My God. Is there any way back? Not that I didn’t enjoy this state of mind, but... How the hell can I take off those bloody glasses?! B-] ) Merlin: Arthur/Merlin, Gwen/Morgana. Also the foursome of these four. Here you are the promised ice-cream. *handing over an imaginary cup of vanilla ice-cream with chocolate chips* Why do you look so disappointed? Don't be angry with me, there's even some Bourbon Vanilla in it! | |||||||
