Author has written 18 stories for Digimon, Card Captor Sakura, Chronicles of Narnia, Morrowind, and Lord of the Rings. Hi. My name's Rumpleteasza. I like taking stories, tearing them up neatly, folding them into origami birds and chucking them out the window. This is called "fanfiction". As for the basics: I am 23. I live in England. I have a BA in Philosophy and Classical Civilisation from Nottingham University (no, I do not know Robin Hood). I have a mother and a father (like most people), and a laughably tall 25-year-old brother called Julian who all my friends think is pretty, who wears pointed brogues and a badge that says "I am 9". I have long red hair and grey eyes, like so. I like things of delicious geekery such as fantasy and sci fi, shiny objects, my best friends, the word 'sprau?', putting things in ironic 'scarequotes', inappropriate pluralisation, Sean Bean, and suprise gifts of marmite. Due mainly to Stewart Lee, gorgeous misanthropic bastard that he is, I am a cheap knockoff put-together job of many better comedians. My writing is influenced most heavily by Philip Pullman, mainly his Victorian Mystery series, and Mervyn Peake, ie Gormenghast. Obviously I can never hope to reach the hearbreaknig genius of these great people, but please feel free to lie outright on that front. I've had this penname since I first logged onto the internet when I was twelve. It's probably not something I'd choose today, since let's face it, Andrew Lloyd Webber needs a serious kick up the jacksy, but this is how everyone knows me and so this is how it shall stay.
