Author has written 40 stories for Glee, Merlin, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Supernatural, X-Men: The Movie, Wizards of Waverly Place, Misc. Movies, Harry Potter, and Dresden Files. Hiya! I update this whenever I'm bored. It's surprisingly good fun. Which possibly means I need more friends. (No offense Sofuzzles. You rock.) I am: A girl Between the ages of 13 and 163 A fanfiction bum, according to my BFFL Episcopalian (sect of Christianity), but able to make fun of my religion Bisexual, if anyone cares. An avid reader I should just say it right now: I love to talk to people on the internet. If you want to ask about my stories, or you agree with my opinions and want to drop me a PM for a rant session, or don't agree with my opinions and want to tell me why I'm wrong (politely and respectfully, let's all be friends here) I will happily respond. Eventually. I'm absolutely horrible at responding to things, but I am interested to hear what others on the internet think of things I enjoy. Favorite Bands: Emilie Autumn, Florence and The Machine, Within Temptation, Evanescence, The Lonely Island, Weird Al Yankovich Favorite Books: You actually think I can list them all here? You obviously don't know me well enough. Let us simply say that I have a deep adoration of Stephen King. And JK Rowling is Goddess, with Tolkein as God and then there's Isaac Asimov...sigh. I have a lot of favorite authors. Favorite Television series: Star Trek TOS, Doctor Who, Torchwood, Supernatural, Merlin Favorite Animal: Wolf. Duh. Favorite Color: Periwinkle All my stories are dedicated to sofiajedi, because she will chat with me on facebook at midnight about minor details before I publish stories, and is therefore the main reason I actually get around to posting shit. Thank God for best friends. My pairings/fandoms Merlin: fave characters: Merlin, Gwaine, Arthur, Sir Leon, Uther MerlinxArthur=my OTP They're eachother's freaking destiny. And they have so much more chemistry than Arthur and Gwen. Gwen annoyed me throughout season 2, the writers basically made her into whatever kind of character was needed for the plotline. And Gwen was also so amazing and ugh, she was utterly perfect with Lancelot and had amazing chemistry with Morgana and then they had to put her with Arthur...yeah anyway Merthur otp5ever and also first serious ship. Merlin/Morgana I love them if it's well written. Now that Morgana went evil, it's different, but it can be argued that they have UST, and honestly, there are times when Arthur is being a prat that I wish Merlin would go be evil with Morgana. Morgana/Gwen Season 1, these two rocked. Seriously, they make 5 times more sense than Gwen/Arthur, and as much chemistry as Lancelot/Gwen Mordred/Merlin s1 he was a creepy little shit, but then s5 came around and he was so sincere and he wanted to help and I just really wish Merlin had been nice to him instead of going into the PROTECTARTHUR mode because I really think a lot could be avoided if Merlin didn't go into PROTECTARTHUR mode so easily because honestly he makes bad decisions when he's working with destiny. Gwen/Lancelot Perf. chemistry Perf. super attractiveness Perf. everything Gwaine/Lancelot It's a bit of a crackship, but both showed signs of being in love with Merlin, so perhaps they console eachother. Well, then Lancelot died. Fuck. Merlin/The Knights Bring it. They all have mancrushes on him anyway. And I think it's a bad sign that I now lump them all into one massive body of prettiness Merlin/Gwaine This is not with Merlin/Knights because I have special feelings for them. There are times when all I want is for Merlin to run off into the sunset with Gwaine, because Gwaine appreciates him. Gwaine became a knight because of Merlin - I don't care if you take it as a friendship thing or a romantic thing, he wasn't there for Arthur. He isn't in Camelot for Arthur, that much is clear from how he ignored the King when Gaius was kidnapped and helped Merlin instead. I think that when you lay down the cards, Gwaine will side with Merlin. And God knows, Merlin needs someone who just loves him. So, my thoughts on this show. I love it. I have issues with it, and sometimes I watch it and want to scream at the writers that Arthur at this point has no frigging brain cells left because he's been knocked out so many times, but I love it.
Thorki See, I think that Thor is the only one you can ship Loki with properly, because Thor and Loki have the most backstory, Thor is the only one who really cares about Loki (on Asgard or on Midgard) to the point of him trying to get Loki to come home like, 3 different times, and Loki is clearly motivated most by sentiment and a desire to prove himself, and yet doesn't kill Thor when he has the chance. Thor needs Loki, I think, because he genuinely doesn't understand people (I firmly believe that he DID think that everyone else in Asgard was also mourning Loki), and Loki needs Thor, because he needs someone to keep him sane. Also, they have the whole light/dark contrasting thing going on. Thor/Jane They're sweet together, and I really loved Thor's movie, and they're both really really attractive. I wish Jane had been in Avengers. But I don't buy that Jane herself was the one who, within a few days, taught Thor to tone down the arrogance, I think it had to do with Odin's reality check and seeing things from the pov of the weaker peoples. Thor/Sif Original Norse Legends wise, this is a thing. And I liked Sif (who actually had practical female body armor, go her), and I like to think of them as friends with benefits who also help each other with conquests and punch each other really hard and get drunk together. Also, I've realized that I sort of whore out Thor to everyone in the 9 Realms. No regrets. Stony I really like the superfamily thing, so sure, plus they have a-mazing fanfiction. But they aren't one of those pairings that I really care about Tony/Bruce Science Boyfriends, ftw. Or Science Bros. Either way works for me, they have a great relationship Tony/Pepper Honestly, I like them, but I don't think they're permanent. I think that Pepper deserves better ("you're with me, you'll never be okay"?!?) and that Tony loves her, but just ultimately...I'm not sure, I suppose I just want Pepper to go off and be a superhero and a CEO and not have to deal with Tony, and that it might be good for Tony to not be reliant on Pepper for awhile. Natasha/Clint So, what the hell did happen in Budapest? Hmm? I like them together, they had chemistry/a connection. I'm sorta bummed that they don't get their own movie So, those are the only things I have specific feels about. Every other pairing I will ship if it's well written. I don't even care. X Men: fave characters: Charles/Prof. X, Logan/Wolverine, Erik/Magneto, Kurt/Nightcrawler, Ororo/Storm Charles/Erik I'm part of that group of people who sort of assumed they had history of the romantic sort after watching the first 3 movies. Then I saw XMFC (thrice). And holy shit, that movie was about two men meeting eachother and falling in love and adopting kids and getting divorced. I love every little bit of it, from the overloads of angst to the overloads of fluff, to the Mom/Dad aspect, to the OldPeople!Love, to the badass powers. This is the only pairing where I've ever had emotions like I feel for Merthur. Charles/Raven Their sibling relationship warms my heart. I'm so mad/sad she left him on the beach. In my headcanon, she went back and sobbed in front of Charles's wheelchair, and he forgave her, but by then it was too late to go back to him, and she had already left him during the time when he needed his family most. And then she went back to Erik and punched him. And lived with the self-hate all her life, and it was sort of rebelling against her self-hate that she was such an extremist, because she felt like she lost her brother for this, she'd better damn well live up to her role, while Charles was sort of miserably wishing he could protect her all the time because they never actually worked out their issues sdff work them out you two. And in all honestly, if Cherik wasn't around, I'd want Raven with Charles. Not with Erik "You should walk around naked!" Lensherr. Hank/Raven Why not. If he's sorry about being a dick and calling her ugly. She's gorgeous! In either form! Seriously, Jennifer Lawrence is the most attractive female I have ever seen in my whole life. But seriously, Hank shouldn't have done that. I understand that he has major issues and I do have sympathy, but...that was not cool. Alex/Sean/Hank I ship them all with eachother. Alex/Hank, Alex/Sean, Sean/Hank, whichever floats your boat. I'm a hippie that way, and they have just enough chemistry with eachother to justify it. Except that it's also creepy because I like them as a big bunch of siblings, so you probably won't find any of them romantically involved in my fics. Wolverine/Rogue YES I ship them. It's just because, well...he's her knight in adamantium armor! And I've only seen the moviessome of x-men: evolution, and in evolution she wasn't a favorite, so I'm sure I don't have a deep canonical grasp of her character. That's why I post in movieverse. Wolverine/Jean Eeeh...whatever. I'm fairly ambigous towards Jean, but I will laugh reading fics where both her men get tired of the love triangle bullshit and leave. I just think that she sort of strung Logan along and I don't really have a connection with beautiful genius people who have inordinate numbers of men in love with them. I wish I did, but nope. Wolverine/Storm I really like them together. Possibly because I really like Storm, and possibly because they aren't dysfunctional. Bobby/John Nnngh, the amount I ship these two...not on the Cherik level, but seriously, I always think of them as canon. John is bad at hiding jealousy, and Bobby's scene with his parents in X2 was exactly like somebody coming out to their parents. My Thoughts: Dafuq Erik. Your boyfriend was shot on a beach, and you left him there, surrounded by hostile ships, taking with you his sister (who would be his biggest support after a traumatizing injury apart from YOU) and then you went and decided to stop wearing sexy turtlenecks. I am not okay with that. Also, my big issue which basically robs me of any real sympathy for Erik's cause is that the man Erik hates and seems to be equating with the worst of humanity is Shaw, and Shaw is a bleeping mutant. Also, getting them before they get us, and the scapegoat, and the strong feeling of a superior race seems disturbingly Nazi-esque to me. Erik is certainly not a Nazi (dear God, no.), but he really needs to quit making sweeping generalizations as to the human race. Also, I adore Angel. I understand her reasons for leaving, and even though I don't support them, I have a random soft-spot for her. She pops up in my fics for no particular reason. So, if anyone reads this and knows the answer, let me know: Where the hell are Sean's parents? Alex was in prison, plus in the comics his family was in a plane crash or something, Hank is an adult who might have been living independently already, Angel was already employed so she probably lived away from home already (there are many stripper stereotypes about running away, also) and Raven was with Charles, but what about Sean? He was in an aquarium, and clean, and untraumatized as far as I can tell, and his parents just let the government whisk him away? To live with Charles? I just feel like something it missing, and I can't find a fanfic about it, and someone needs to help me. Please. My Head-Canon: Charles was horribly abused as a child. He got locked up in a mental institution once. Raven was like an angel to him, because she was the only source of love in his childhood. His faith in humanity comes from his mind-reading ability, not naivete, because he saw how much good there was in people. He's also a multibillionaire on the Stark level. Erik has been searching for Shaw his whole life, and his only sexual relationships had been with prostitutes. He and Erik started sleeping with eachother on the trip to recruit mutants. When they're old men, Charles and Erik still love each other and have dates and sex and Logan can smell it on the Professor and just shakes his head and decides he doesn't want to know. Doctor Who: fave characters: Doctor, Jack, Rose, TARDIS, Martha Doctor/Rose They're so sweet together! Seriously, Rose was THE BOMB for companions. I love her. 10/Martha They're okay, nothing really against them except that it's kind of rebound for the doctor. And I don't think people give Martha enough credit, I mean she walked the earth, alone, for a hellish year, and come on, have any other companions showed that kind of simple endurance? She's frigging brilliant, and just eurgh Martha hate angers me. Doctor/Jack They both deserve someone who won't die 10/Shakespeare Fuck, I don't know why I like these two. Oh well, I ship them anyway Doctor/Master The chemistry! The arguements! The awesomeness! The angst! The shared history! Also, Russel T. Davies said they love eachother. Boom. Doctor/Rory Come on, they're so...can't you see the adorableness here? Rory is the only companion who doesn't see the Doctor through rose-colored glasses, and I think he get's him in a way most don't. That ability to understand the Doctor means he can love the Doctor for the broken old time-lord child he is, not just the brilliance he blinds everyone with. My Thoughts: See, I despite Moffat with every fiber of my being, and I have serious feminist disagreements with River and Amy, which prevents me from liking either of them. Glee: fave characters: Kurt, Jesse, Brittany, Sam, Tina Kurt/Jesse So. So. Perfect. Seriously, these two are my OTP for glee. They're both strongly motivated, enormously talented, want to go to Broadway, have fabulous hair, tend towards drama, very loyal, and gah, I will never stop believing that Jesse is bi. St. Hummel would rock the world if it was canon. Just a warning now, most of my fanfiction is about them Kurt/Blaine I will tell you right now that I despise klaine, and it's a long rant that if you want to know more about, pm me because it's not worth putting that many paragraphs into the profile. This is basically just a warning that if I ever write for glee again, Blaine will be bashed. Tina/Mike I've had a soft spot for them since the first time I saw them dance, and now they're canon and Mike has a personality and they're one of the few things I still enjoy about glee, despite the fact that it seems intent on messing up every single asset it ever had. Will/Emma Nu-uh Will. You are an enormous douchebag who doesn't understand his privilege or the fact that you do actually treat members of your glee club differently in regards to race/sexuality/gender, and quite frankly, you are a dick to Emma who ignores her feelings and assumes you know more about her mental condition than she does. Emma is hardly innocent, seeing as she did pursue you when you were married and expecting a kid, but I think she deserves better. Will/Terri Did I mention Will's doucheness in seasons 2/3? I think he was a nicer person with Terri! And though she's crazy, she at least kept him reigned in. I have a lot of sympathy for Terri, I think she has a genuine mental condition and wish her motives/character had been explored more, rather than just making her the villain. Lauren/Puck I love Lauren. I really do. I love them together. She brings Puck down a notch, without detracting from his badassery, she didn't take shit from anyone, she apologizes when she fucks up, and she and Puck had a relationship which was established properly and made excellent and then slashed away for the sake of freeing Puck up for other plotlines. Still not over Lauren being cut. Kurt/Sam My initial reaction was a shriek of joy, and I still think Sam is bi. I'm shipping them. I'll ignore canon all I want, dammit Brittany/Santana Well maybe if Santana would quit being a bitch...I swear it's getting harder and harder to love her. Brittany deserves someone nice, and I think that Santana has no qualms about manipulating Brittany, which doesn't make her much better than a lot of the school. Sam/Mercedes It sort of blindsided me. And while they are two of the most decent people on the show, I don't think they had enough backstory for me to actually care about them. But they ARE the only semi-healthy relationship currently on glee, so kudos to them. My Thoughts: I watch this show because I am a masochist, clearly. It's racist and homophobic and misogynist if you don't watch it, stay the fuck away from it ohmygod. Lord of the Rings: Aragorn, Legolas, Lord Elrond, All of the hobbits, Gandalf I don't really ship anyone for this, because the books are more adventure than romance but... Legolas/Aragorn otp sorry not sorry. Harry Potter: Harry Potter, Albus Dumbledore, Sirius Black, Minerva McGonagal, Oliver Wood...and many more. HP has too many awesome people Harry/Draco Betaing a story for Missy The Least (y'all should check her out. She rocks.) has made me see this paring in a new light, and now I understand the shipping. Plus, Harry did stalk him for the entirety of the 6th book, and they seem a bit obsessed with each other. Harry/Hermione Because Hermione was the most loyal person ever, and she stayed with him when no one else did, and she and him just make a great team. They seem to be on the same wavelength, and Dan/Emma had amazing chemistry. Harry/Luna Y'know, I just feel like this would work out. Harry grounds Luna, Luna helps Harry see into a world full of Crumple Winged Snoracks and Thestrals, and they both understand what it's like to be an outsider. Harry/Ginny See, this is canon, but I kind of feel like JK pulled it out of her ass. It makes total sense when I read it, because JK is such a great writer, but I don't think they had proper build up, and I don't think they have that much chemistry. Dumbledore/Grindelwald is canon, and no one will ever convince me otherwise. Also, I don't understand the Dumbledore hate I see around here sometimes. How can you hate him after you hear his life, and how he did make mistakes and tried (and succeeded) at keeping Harry from making those same mistakes, and all his brilliant quotes, and my love for him is endless. Ron/Hermione I don't like it. Isn't Harry really all they have in common? I dunno, I just see them going towards a long and messy divorce... James/Lily I like them far more than I like Lily/Snape. Because you know what? Just because Snape loved her doesn't change the fact that Snape called her a horrible racial slur, that Snape made her son's life a living hell whenever possible just because he could, that Snape was in fact a Death Eater and not a nice person, and it irritates me when people act as though Snape is a great romantic hero, ignoring all of his faults, and then bash James because he was a moron when he was 15. We all go through a stupid phase! When I was 12 I spelled school "skool" in all my emails because I thought it was cool, that doesn't mean I didn't grow up to appreciate proper grammar! And James died for Lily and Harry, he loved her for years and won her because his character grew, rather than degenerated like Snape's did, and they were happy together, and he was in fact going to make up with Snape because Lily asked him too, except he died before it could happen (yes, JK Rowling confirmed this.) James/Sirius This is my crackship for HP. Friends with benefits, perhaps? Sirius/Lupin Okay, so I understand why this ship is popular, and I see all the evidence, but I don't ship it that much. Maybe if anyone has some great fanfiction recs for it? I will ship any of the minor characters with gusto (such as Katie Bell/Oliver Wood, Percy Weasley/Anybody Because I Have Percy Feels and I am legit the only one who does or at least that's how it feels sometimes). Star Trek: Spock, Kirk, Chekov, Sulu, Scotty, SPOCK/KIRK They. Started. Slash. They. Are. Canon. My mother shipped this before I did, and I, as is only right, ship it with that same fiery intensity because they are literally perfect and I can bash people around the head with the amount of evidence there is for their love. I'm a ridiculous Trekkie, to the point of me freaking out in a garden store because of a Hosta named "Vulcan." ...no, I'm not kidding. There's also one called "Captain Kirk", and I bought them both!! They rest side by side in the garden. Tintin: Tintin, Captain Haddock, Snowy, Calculus, Chang Tintin/Haddock Oh come on. You know you want to slash them. I did, as soon as I picked the books up again when I turned 13 and knew what slash was. Supernatural: Dean, Bobby, Gabriel, Sam, Castiel Dean/Cas All the feels. No really, all of them. This show is the only one I've ever seen that actually had me, quite literally, curled up on my couch whimpering "Deeeeeean, Caaaas, Saaam" after an episode. Wincest I didn't want to ship them, but then they were all face touchy and emotional and I freakin had to. And then I was addicted. It's sad but true, and people should lay off the Wincest bashing. Sam/Gabriel Height difference Quotes of awesome: “I warn you, I’ve been trained to kill since birth” "Most people learn by observation, and there are the few who learn by experimentation. And then there are those who actually TOUCH the fire to see if it's really hot." With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. A cat may look at a king “Anyways you need people of intelligence on this sort of... mission... quest... thing.” The early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese. Random note: I know that half the time people don't have time to leave a review, and life is quick, but please don't go through every story of mine and fave them and put me on author alert without dropping at least one review. I like reviews! They make my days so much better! And it's a bit bewildering when people seem to enjoy so much of my stuff but don't tell me why. So pretty please review? | |||||||
