Author has written 11 stories for Sonny with a Chance, Clique, Recess, and Victorious. Hey everyone!! :) About Me: I go to Michigan State University. (Yes, I write stories for kids' shows even though I'm in college, lol.) As you can see, I LOVE to write, and my dream is to be a TV sitcom writer. I love watching comedy sitcoms on TV, but dramas are good once in a while too. I am OBSESSED with 80's movies. They just don't make 'em like they used to! FAVORITE MOVIES: 1. The Breakfast Club--Best movie of all time. Normally, I only like comedies/romances/romantic comedies, but this movie had it all and was surprisingly deep. And Bender was HOT ;) 2. Bridesmaids--groundbreaking for women in comedy. R-rated comedies always star guys, but this one proved that women can be funny too, not just pretty faces. 3. Not Another Teen Movie--hilarious parody of teen movies. 4. Say Anything--another awesome 80's movie. Inspired the Easy A quote: "I want John Cusack holding a boombox outside my window..." 5. The Notebook--No explanation needed. 6. Pretty Woman--gotta love the story. Hooker falls for her client. Genius. 6. Diary of a Wimpy Kid--Rodrick's hot. End of story. FAVORITE HINDI MOVIES (Yep, I'm Indian, lol): Dilwale Dluhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Dil Chata Hai FAVORITE TV SHOWS: That 70's Show, The Office, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother, Dawson's Creek and The Vampire Diaries. FAVORITE TV SHOWS FROM WHEN I WAS A KID: Drake & Josh, Zoey 101, Recess, Lizzie McGuire, That's So Raven, Even Stevens, Phil of the Future, and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody (back when Ashley Tisdale was on it). My Celebrity Crushes: For Looks: Ian Somerhalder. He's a GOD. Perfect mix of boyish good looks and rugged manliness. I can't think of anyone who can even compare to him in the looks department. And he's a phenomenal actor--definitely not just a pretty face. He even has his own charity for animals! Technically, he could go in all three of these categories, but I gotta give the other guys a chance too...lol. For Talent: Drake Bell. He's an actor, comedian, producer, musician, singer, songwriter, director, and voice artist. He was hilarious on Drake & Josh, and he's great at everything he does. Despite being a kids' show star who sings, he's earned my respect. He writes his own songs and plays instruments, which means he's really passionate about music and not just doing it because Nickelodeon wants him to. In fact, he never let Nickelodeon take over his music, which makes me like him even more. And his music rocks; he truly could've been the fifth Beatle. For Personality: Shane Dawson. Yep, that guy on YouTube who wears his mom's clothes. He's super dirty, but he's not afraid to be himself, and he has the same sense of humor as me. I love that he's saving himself for marriage, despite being that dirty-minded. He's hilarious, too. And just awesome. :) My opinion on the fandoms I write for: The Clique: I was obsessed with these books in middle school, but they got annoying. The first five were awesome, but they went downhill from there. I loved Massie and Derrington together; that's why I was pissed when Bratfest at Tiffany's came out, because from the back, you'd think they'd get back together, but they didn't. It was obviously a ploy by the author to sell more books. Anyway, they're fun to make fun of, so check out Not Another Clique Story, it's the best Clique spoof on FanFiction! Sonny With a Chance: I LOVED the fist season, but the second season was kinda lame. I thought I'd hate the show after the first episode, but when I saw Sterling Knight, I was hooked. ;) He looked a lot better with his hair long, though. Despite being one example in a growing list of kid shows selling showbiz fantasies to children, I actually enjoyed SWAC. I loved Sonny and Chad's relationship dynamic, they were SO CUTE together! But only in the first season, Chad got all dorky and un-cocky in the second season. Recess: Best kids' show ever. 90's shows were the best, and this one was epic. I don't know why they don't make kids' shows like this anymore. I found all the episodes on YouTube and made my little sister watch them. Even she agreed this show was way better than the crap Disney spews out these days. Victorious: Just like Sonny With a Chance, this show loves to sell showbiz fantasies to children at a time when the genre is stronger than ever and getting extremely cliche. Despite being created by Dan Schneider, I knew I'd hate this show from the first episode. He hasn't come up with anything good since Drake & Josh and What I Like About You. You have your typical happy-go-lucky protagonist, your typical mean girl, and the guy who's supposed to be hot. And Cat, who's ditzy to the point of being mentally challenged. I mean seriously, if you're gonna have a dumb character, at least make it somewhat believable. And Beck's probably the most boring character of all. Actually, it was Beck & Jade's relationship that drew me in. I seriously wonder how he can stand her sometimes, but they're SO cute together. After the first episode, I was expecting him to get with Tori, but the fact that he stayed with Jade is what makes this show unique. My favorite character is definitely Robbie though, he's hilarious. A few months ago, I hated this show for making a mockery of The Breakfast Club, which is my favorite movie. But now that I started watching it...well, it's not terrible. And Beck & Jade are a super cute couple to write for, so here I am! I'm a friendly person and I love to talk! So feel free to message me if you wanna talk about my stories or anything else! As far as my stories go, I probably won't be updating my older ones. I've found that the more time you spend not updating your stories, the more likely you are to forget about them. I've recently started writing outlines though, so I know what I'll write about in every chapter and writer's block won't be a problem for my newer stories. :) Reviews always help if I'm taking too long. I'm a sucker for those long, ass-kissing reviews ;) | |||||||
