So , the name's Emily. But you can call me 'Em" I really don't care. I use Emily for nearly everything, but sometimes my friends will be lazy and just say "Em" and I've gotten used to it.

[So new name: Miss-Song-Bird. You see, I was trying to publish my first story, but the story did not want to publish my pen name. I think it was from the dots in it. Anyways, So I changed it to dashes. I also changed it to Miss-Song-Bird because Song Bird is my camp name for when I volunteer with Girl Scout camp. Anyways, most of you didn't know me as Miss.Paperthin.Hymn, but some of my reviews are under that name.]

--Hello FanFictionists! (is that a word?) So. I found this website almost accidentally while doing Google searches for Channy, at the time, my ultimate favorite TV couple. (SWAC) I started reading and I thought it was cool. I finally decided to make my own account, mainly so I wouldn't have to review anonymously. I have decided that it's a good past time.

I am currently on HIATUS for writing. However, I am somewhat considering reviving my writing.

About the Author:

1. After abandoning my support and love for Eclare, after Drop the World pt 2., I became a fan of Cake and loved them to pieces. However, now that Clare and Jake will be step-siblings, I can no longer ship them. Eli is back to himself, which helps me be pro-Eclare. Also, the scene between Clare and Eli at the hospital whenever Eli finds about the Cake breakup... it really sparked Eclare back up for me. I'm re-shipping Eclare.

2. I dislike Anime/Manga. (Sorry.)

4. I like writing one-shots the best.

5. I love to review things! I always give compliments, and only occasionally, constructive criticism.

BIGGEST STORY TURN-OFFS.:
Qualities of a fanfic that repel me from reading it. Yes, it's nit-picky. NO, it is not meant to insult a writer. It's just how they could attract more readers.

Sometimes my turn-offs will be forgotten if a story is wonderful. This doesn't happen often, though.

-The title of the story is not capitalized correctly. However, if it is capitalized irregularly for a reason it's okay. (Ex.: iStory Title Here for iCarly) If you can't manage to capitalize a short title, you probably won't capitalize properly in your fic. Is it that hard to capitalize a couple of letters?

-Multiple spelling errors in summary. Do not get this confused with typos. Spelling errors are not just one letter off where the letter it should have is right next to it on the keyboard. If you can't spell simple words, I couldn't enjoy your story anyways. Seriously.

-You can't use "they're", "their", or "there" properly. 'Nuff said.

-Your fanfic is written in play/script format.
Miss-Song-Bird: Writer should be able to use proper quotation.
Miss-Song-Bird: This format is just plain annoying.
Miss-Song-Bird: Respect your writing, please and thank-you.

-Main character names are misspelled. If you really like the fandom, you should know character spellings.
Degrassi: Clare Edwards. No 'i' in her first name.

-Author inserts self into a story to make themself seem cool. Look, I don't care if you've always wanted a romance with Eli Goldsworthy, just don't ruin the characters by making them fall in love with you. Are you a Degrassi student? Hmm... didn't quite think so. - I don't mind AU in many cases, but please leave yourself out.

-All text centered. It makes it difficult and unappealing to read. For song lyrics within the story, it's okay.

-WhEnEvEr PeOpLe WrItE LiKe ThIs. - It'S tAcKy, HaRd tO rEaD, aNd PlAiN AnNoYiNg. - Not even in the title. Learn proper capitalization, please and thank you.

-Little author's notes in the middle of the story. If you need to comment on something specifically, mention it at the bottom or top of the chapter. If it's in the middle, it really breaks up the story and distracts the reader. If your must, add a (1) next to the sentence, word, whatever. Change numbers for each instance and explain at end/beginning.

-When People Capitalize Every Word Of Their Story. It's Plain Annoying To Read, And Not Proper Punctuation For A Sentence. Isn't It Strainful Having To Capitalize Every Word While Typing?? So Repulsive.
