Author has written 4 stories for Dragon Ball Z, and Harry Potter. First Things First: I'm not going to write about myself, my hobbies, etc. If I tried to describe myself, I'd probably end up writing a novel-length analysis. My Zodiak is Leo, and it pretty much sums up my personality. ! ! ! Important ! ! ! English is my second language, which is to blame for flawed grammar and limited vocabulary in my works. However, I spend a great deal of time reading and speaking English, and I constantly learn new words as well. I have a kind of obsession with English language, it's so rich and fluid, and elegant. FictionPress Account: I write songs and poetry too. Here's my FictionPress profile URL: http://www.fictionpress.com/u/731222/ Fandoms I write/am going to write for: There's a list of my favorite books, movies and TV series so that you can have an idea of what fandoms I write for. I'm not going to write about all of them, but I will certainly focus on them. Book Series: "Harry Potter" by Joanne K. Rowling Novels: "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte Movies "Pirates Of The Caribbean" TV Series: "Dragon Ball Z" Now I'm going to tell you what I specialize in, and what kind of stories I write. CHECK ME OUT, IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR... Prequels. I love them, because they give so much creative freedom and don't disturb the original story. However, I'm quite opposed to prequels. In my opinion, great stories are better off left where they end. It's very tempting to bring them to life again, but actually it's just ruining them. There are always exceptions, though... Hurt/Comfort & Tragedies. My artistic side is a bit melancholic. Sad, tragic stories is what I'm good at. This is where I can make the best of my abilities. Romance. This is my thing too. With my favorite couples I can go go great lengths. One-Shots. Especially those ones that fill the gaps in the plot. They don't interfere with the story and are just perfect for fan fiction, I think. Minor Characters: I often become more attached to minor characters than the main ones. I just hate it, when a fascinating, promising character is underdeveloped and is but a small detail in the main picture. Some of my stories will be dedicated to those minor characters. My Writing Style My main goal is, frankly, to consume the readers. I pay huge attention to the style of writing, trying to make it elaborate enough to capture attention and make reading enjoyable, but not to overdo it. Emotions are very important to me as well, I express them through dialogues, descriptions or just between the lines. "The heavier, the better" is my motto. I'm not particularly fond of short sentences and pronoun contradictions, and whenever I can choose between a common word and its longer/rarer alternative, I go for the latter. My strongest point is dialogue. Usually I can put myself in the character's shoes and make it speak how the original author would want it, not what I think would sound better. However, I love putting characters into extraordinary situations, where they have to act differently from their usual selves. Second thing I consider myself good at is the musing of a character, that is, the parts of story where a character is having a mental conversation with itself, trying to find its goal and purpose, wallowing in doubts or guilt, et cetera. This is where I can unleash my contemplative, philosophical side. However, I often face plot writing issues. My mind is purely artistic type, not the analytical and logical one. Sometimes the plots of my stories end up too twisted, underdeveloped or just plain illogical. But my motto is practice makes perfect. I believe I will improve. Another weak point is grammar. Ad I've said above, I am not a native English speaker. Spell checking tool and a Thesaurus are my best friends. I try to avoid using dictionary as much as possible, but it's still necessary. Reviews How I review stories. You are never going to get a three-word review from me. I only review stories which I really like, and then I want to thank the author for a wonderful work, flatter his/her talent and skill and tell what could yet be better. Unfortunately, I'm not good at criticism. I'm no expert in literature, so I can't really give a proper review. My feedbacks will be mostly praise and my thoughts/comments/advices for the story. How I'd prefer my stories reviewed. I love feedback just like everybody else here (maybe even more because of my cocky personality, haha). Any reviews are welcome. Also, if you feel that there's something wrong with the story, see some mistake you'd like to point out, or just state your opinion, you may be as harsh and blunt as you want, just please be specific about it.There is nothing more useful for a writer than constructive criticism. If you have any questions concerning the story, characters or anything else, feel free to ask. Updating One of my problems is that I cannot just turn my creativity on and off. Some days I can write tens of pages without stopping, the others I just sit there and stare at the screen, cursing loudly. Please be patient if you have to wait for a next chapter. That's it. I hope you enjoy my works :) | |||||||
