Author has written 36 stories for Harry Potter, Special Unit 2, Lone Gunmen, Dark Tower series, Lord of the Rings, 24, Lois and Clark, Without a Trace, Dark Angel, Cold Case, CSI: Miami, CSI: New York, Crossing Jordan, Red Eye, Numb3rs, Lost, X-Men: The Movie, Heroes, Veronica Mars, Doctor Who, and Alias. I was born on September 30, 1982, in Germany, if anyone is interested :) Born in Lüneburg, Germany, to be exact. I lived and studied in Munich from September 2002 till July 2006, and I went back there in 2008 - after completing my M.A. in Dublin and spending half a year in Barcelona, that is. I'm a translator and interpreter, by the way. Things I love... over all, my friends and family, but also: Movies, partying, dancing, singing, musicals, lots and lots of TV series, writing stories & this website. Most of my stories involve some romance and some angst (I'm not really good at comedies). Have a look for yourself :) What else can I tell you... I prefer writing fanfic in English (somehow I like my style better in English than in German, plus it helps immensely getting a grip on the language). My favorite fandoms are Harry Potter, Lost and Special Unit 2, but every now and then a plot bunny pops into my mind and I go chasing it, no matter where it came from... could be Cold Case, Without A Trace, Star Wars, or even Lord of the Rings (which I normally don't write, as I'd like to be as canon as possible, and with LotR that's not always easy). Personally, I am a major fan (or maybe I should say "admirer") of Stephen King, Jeffery Deaver, Silverchair, musicals, opera, Christian Bale, and www.funtrivia.com. Among loads of other things... Another note on my stories... I'm a 'shipper, I admit it. Whenever I see a spark, I take up on it. That's one reason why I don't like OC pairings. And that's also the reason why most of my stories turn out 'shippy in the end (depending, of course, on the type of story). In a show with multiple possibilities, I usually go for the most likely, or logical, one. In most of the cases, that means my 'shipping ideas are more or less canon (e.g. Lost, Dark Angel, Harry Potter etc.). Then there's the other kind of 'shipping, where the characters don't hook up in the original show/book/whatever, but everyone knows they want to (e.g. Special Unit 2). And then there's friendshipping, too, which I frequently like to include. That's my way of bringing characters closer together when there is no real canon base for a 'ship. Claire/Peter on Heroes, for instance. I love the dynamics between them on the show, and God knows I'd like to see them together, but it doesn't feel quite right to make them fall in love. You see, I really try to stay canon. (Special Unit 2 is the exception rather than the rule, but hell, those two are just made for each other!) So you'll see a lot of fluffy one-shots on my stories list, but a couple of "feature-length" stories, too - those are the ones I spend months on, plotting and analyzing, so it turns out decent in the end. I love reviews. I really do. And that doesn't mean I only want praise. I just like the idea that people read my stories and feel they're worth thinking about and therefore send me a couple of lines saying how they liked it. So please, even if you didn't like the story, share your impression with me! Criticism is welcome as long as it's constructive. Nobody likes flames, and neither do I. That said, go ahead and enjoy :) So, und jetzt nochmal in meiner Muttersprache... Ich werde das alles jetzt nicht wiederholen, aber ich will nicht, dass ihr denkt, ich finde mein Englisch so toll und hab mein Profil deshalb auf Englisch verfasst, nein: Der Grund war, dass ich erst ungefähr ein Jahr nach meiner Registrierung hier herausgefunden habe, dass es auch eine deutsche Ecke gibt... (Ja, ich weiß, blind muss man sein). Ich dachte, das wäre eine durch und durch englische Website, und deshalb habe ich mein Profil natürlich auch auf Englisch geschrieben. Nur damit das geklärt ist :) Aber inzwischen habe ich auch ein paar deutsche Sachen hier online gestellt (na ja, so viel auch nicht... irgendwie gefällt mir mein Stil auf englisch besser...).
