Hello! Brief bit about me - I'm a housewife who's been writing fanfiction since I was 4 and posting it since before I knew what I was doing, hehe. I've gotten better in the last decade, though.
Check out my beta's awesome blog:
I've written two novels, both are for sale online in paperback and ebook format. One is an urban fantasy adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, first in a series, called Glass, and the other is an inspirational romance inspired by "Beauty and the Beast" called Their Forever Family. I have four other books coming out sometime this year: 1) The Shepherd's Daughter, a high fantasy novel inspired by The Nutcracker; 2) another inspirational romance, inspired by "Rapunzel," called Where the Heart Is; 3) the sequel to Glass, titled Obsidian; 4) and a classic/monster mash-up, Anne of Zombie Gables. And I have an anthology of retold myths and fairytales coming out as well near the end of this year, which will be called The Path, and a historical western inspirational romance called The Heart of Three Bears. Please buy my work, I know you'll like it! =)

And coming soon during 2012/2013!
Where the Heart Is
My top fanfic is "Once Upon a Time" for Hellboy II. It's also posted on my blog: http://la-knight.blogspot.com/ . Currently has more than 900 reviews and is really long. Lovers of faerie tales, Prince Nuada, ancient Gaelic culture, and faeries will enjoy. Also check out other authors' stories that tie into "Once Upon a Time" -
And Twice Beneath a Space by OceanFire9
So I was browsing on Deviant Art for some new Nuada fanart (PrinceNuadaProject, by the way, has some great work, like Not Enough, School, and Snow. You guys should go look at those, they are so adorable!!) and I found this gorgeous hand-drawn piece called Nuada in Exile, by LeafOfSteel-d313tl1. It is a perfect fit for Once Upon a Time because it's this lovely sad shot of Nuada kneeling on a rooftop with this building that kind of looks like how I imagine Saint Vincent's Hospital in my fic to look. So I asked LeafOfSteel if I could use her brilliant piece for the cover of Once Upon a Time and she said yes!!! So the full image is my new profile pic, and the cover image (cropped slightly and with a title put on it by me) is now Once's cover art. So yay! It's so awesome! You can find the original piece right here.
My top 6 favorite fanfictions/fanfiction series EVER (in no particular order by people I don't know):
Fallen Star/Brother Avengers/The Lokistone by Alydia Rackham (for Thor)
At all times am looking for talented artists to illustrate my fanfics.
I love Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. The worlds of Tolkien and Rowling are two of my favorite to visit in my mind. The enchantment, the danger, the beauty, the adventure, the love, and the magic make both worlds brilliant and beautiful. Please trust that when I write fanfiction for these worlds, it is not meant with disrespect, or frivolousness. I have the utmost respect for Tolkien and Rowling (and CS Lewis, as well, let's not forget the mastermind behind the Chronicles of Narnia) and would never insult them intentionally. I do my very, very best to keep my non-parody fics free of cliches and mary-sues. I do everything in my power to make sure that what I write fits with what I know of their respective worlds (hence why one of my fics is on hiatus since Harry Potter 7 came out - I'm still trying to fix the plotted-out part so that I keep it in the storylines of the book, with only few changes) and I do lots of research. Especially in the incredibly complex, unique world of Middle Earth.
Luineyende is my biggest effort in this. I am trying very hard to keep it non-sue, and in cannon. Please have patience with me - each chapter, once posted, will probably be revised at least six or seven times. As for my tales involving fairies... I'm using the English definition of fairy (Tolkien was English) and using The Hobbit as my reference guide. If you want an example of fairy-type creatures in his other works, you'll find Tom Bombadil and Goldberry, as well as Old Man River, Goldberry's father, the Ents, and other such.
Thank you for reading my profile. I hope this has kept you from writing me off as a deranged fangirl. I'm trying to slay the Dark Side of my Soul for the purposes of good fanfiction. Thank you.
Chronological Order of my Dark Series fanfics:
Dark Memories 1: Scarlet Cloak (complete)
