I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature; minor concentration in Sociology (Two very different but equally useless fields)

My ultimate ambition is to be a full-time writer, so I use my fan fiction as a way to practice my skills. (It's also a lot of fun!) I welcome all forms of constructive criticism to whatever stories I publish here, as it will only help me improve. Just be sure to explain why you didn't like something. Without that explanation, you aren't helping me and are instead only flaming me. And stupid flames are never welcome. What's the point of saying a story sucks if you're not going to back it up with evidence?

Favorite animes: Tenchi Muyo! (I actually run a Sasami/Tsunami fansite), Slayers, Cowboy Bebop, Outlaw Star, Dirty Pair Flash, Full Metal Alchemist, Chrono Crusade (manga), and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Favorite games: Golden Sun (accept no substitutes!), Fire Emblem, Tales of Symphonia, Zelda, Mario, Roller Coaster Tycoon, various classic 16-bit RPGs, and Smash Brothers Melee (they need to make another one and put the GS crew in it--that'd be sweet!)

Golden Sun: Mia, Isaac and Picard (I refuse to call him Piers in my stories. It just doesn't feel right to me.)

Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken: Hector, Eliwood, Canas, Fiora, Lucius, Pent, Isadora...the list goes on.
Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones: Tana, L'Arachel, Colm, Lute, Forde, Seth, Gerik...
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance: Ike, Elincia, Soren, Ranulf, Oscar, Boyd, Marcia, Kieran...so many more. Love this game.
Tenchi Muyo!: Sasami and Tsunami. No doubt the most underappreciated characters in the whole series.

Some of my Favorite Pairings:

I am a sentimental fool a lot of the time, so I enjoy a good love story. Note the word "story." Too much of the time, I find that romance writers get mired in the whole 'shipping concept and forget about plot or character development or some other important facet of quality fiction. As far as I'm concerned, a crappy romance fic will be crappy no matter what the pairing is. Yes, I have my own preferences when it comes to character pairings, but generally, if a story is truly well-written and has an interesting plot, the pairings are a secondary factor and I can still enjoy it.

That said, my only real "squick" when it comes to romance fics is incest; I will not go near any story that crosses that line because I personally find it offensive, so please don't ask me to read one. I don't read much shonen/shoujo-ai because it's rare that I find one with an actual plot (that word again) but I will read it now and then.

Tales of Symphonia: Lloyd/Colette, Kratos/Anna, Yuan/Martel (I don't think enough people appreciate Yuan...)

Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones: Seth/Eirika, Colm/Niemi. I'm not tied to many others.
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance: Ike/Elincia. Yes, that's basically the only one.
Tenchi Muyo!: I actually don't have a favorite pairing for Tenchi, believe it or not. I'm one of those weird people that prefers he not be paired with anyone!

Muses: Three Djinn from Golden Sunnamed Mist, Crystal and Shade. They just...appeared one day on my desk and have caused nothing but trouble since. Supposedly, Isaac, Mia and Picard sent the little buggers to me to make sure I keep writing and don't do anything too evil, but I think some of my fellow authors may have had something to do with it.
