Author has written 6 stories for Skins. I am what could be described as a "Silver Surfer"(!). I live about 20 miles South of London and started watching Skins with the second season in the UK. This was after seeing the "Maxxie dancing" poster on a bus shelter. The first name that entered my mind when I saw it was Rudolf Nureyev. After seeing the first episode, I obtained the first season DVDs & watched them. Like many others, I fell in love with Cassie. After the second season ended I had to deal with withdrawal symptoms. I found fanfiction.net. I was disappointed with the really tragic endings to some of the Sid/Cassie stories. I registered with the site and commented on some of them. I have written some happier stories about this lovely couple, although "Sweet Sorrow" is not exactly cheerful. I am also exploring the second generation to see if there is any inspiration for stories there. Recently, I have been exploring some of the Neville/Luna stories within Harry Potter and am finding more and more parallels between Luna and sweet Cassie. | |||||||
