Hello there!

I'm just a hobbyist who likes to write fanfiction in his free time. I also enjoy reading the stories of my friends. In addition to writing fanfiction, I also write poetry, and program games. Unfortunately however, none of my games have been too successful, though they have been great fun making. I have Asperger's Syndrome, so I may act a bit weird at times, however, I went through a lot of speech therapy, so it's altogether possible you won't notice at all. What I appreciate most from a good story is strong characters with character development; the characters need to learn some important truth in the story. However, I also like humor stories provided that they are appropriate.

Some of the more popular book series I have enjoyed are the Ender's Game, Harry Dresden, Maximum Ride, The Belgariad, Pendragon, Harry Potter, Dragonlance, and Twilight. There's also some less popular ones like the Jimmy Fincher Saga, but you've probably never heard of them before. But yeah... I'll read nearly anything. Can't guarantee I'll enjoy it, but that's expected, right?

In terms of anime, I enjoy Toradora, Rurouni Kenshin, Trigun, Romeo x Juliet, Gundam Wing, Fruit's Basket, Bleach, and Gun x Sword (I skip over the fan service parts in this one). They all are a bit different from each other, and have their own strengths and weaknesses. In terms of Storyline, I'd say Rurouni Kenshin and Gundam Wing are the strongest... they have very dynamic stories. In terms of good main characters, Toradora, Trigun and Fruits's Basket probably do the best job. The best villain goes to Gun x Sword, who manages to make the villain's arguments persuasive (that's impressive from my point of view). Bleach I just enjoy for the action, though sometimes I bang my head on the walls metaphorically when the characters don't act right. Romeo x Juliet I like because it exemplifies how I think love and romance should be... rather innocent, persay. My favorite of them all is probably Toradora, especially the second half.

I hope to be doing beta readings in the future... we'll have to see how that goes. I'm not that great at catching punctuation and the like (hopefully I'll be getting better), but I do try and do a good job of analyzing your characters to see if they act within their character. Hopefully I have other strengths as well, though I'll have to wait and see to know what exactly they are.

Thanks for reading my profile also! I'm not sure how many actually will do it. So yeah, thanks!

Best of Wishes,

-TAO
