Happy Turkey Day to all who celebrate Thanksgiving, and to all who eat too much on the last Thursday of November just because that's what you do. Who needs it to be a holiday to have a feast? Certainly not those of the elven persuasion. Just get out a fresh box of Trix or Cocoa Puffs and watch what happens.

Long live poor "Faek Me", who survived being the victim of elven mischief for such a long, long time without ever complaining about it. (For those who are new, "Faek Me" is the cardboard cutout replica whom Legolas used to take great delight dressing up in various costumes he gathered along the way of life's path.)If you are just joining us, and would like to see all of the pics that were posted previously of the hats 'Faek Me' has worn, including the Tinky-Winky Halloween costume and the Doctor's scrub suit, just e-mail me (see the addy above) and let me know what chapter you're on, and I'll be happy to share by e-mailing you the pics you missed. I'll send you the story of each hat as well, so you know what Legolas was thinking when he put "faek me" through so much torture.

I hope as you read you will find that Yes Dear and I are just an ordinary couple with a more than ordinary pre-teen girl whom we call Lil' Pip. We also have 4 cats and a dog who all live inside with us here in the deep south of the USA. We were "blessed" with an extraordinary visitor in April of 2002. Life was once simple, long ago. I can hardly remember it then, and am positive I do NOT want it to go back to being simple that way. Life has become an incredible adventure, at least for me.

For those of you who have been with us for awhile, I have really enjoyed getting to know you and want to say thanks for making Legolas feel right at home. Your letters have been a great support to us both.
