Author has written 1 story for Lord of the Rings.
I am rather schizophrenic about fanfiction...or obsessive...probably both, as it seems I can never get enough, especially when I come across one that makes me think "wish I could write THAT good!" So far, I have only attempted one...and that one was long and slow and painful for me...painful in the same way as letting your dentist convince you that yes, you really DO need a root canal.

Well, I wouldn't call writing like getting a root canal...but my discipline level is very low, and I have yet to convince the creative part of me of the marvelous benefits of actually designing a routine with the intent of 'being creative.' Somehow those two things just won't reconcile themselves to each other.

I am a Tolkienite from way back, since the days of the Rankin-Bass TV version of 'The Hobbit' (ask me how easy it is for me to warble the song 'The Greatest Adventure'), and the even headier (?!?...well, it *was* for us at the time) days of the Bakshi film. A friend and I have even created a parody site based on some rather comical observations about that film. It too has been slow in coming, but with a wing and a prayer, I hope to have something substantial within the next month or two. Just click on the above url for a glimpse into A Day in the Life of the Dark Lordess...

I am also an unrepentant fan of Harry Potter (yes, that comment is directed at all the book-burners out there...you know of whom I speak...), with a growing...nay, BURGEONING fascination for Draco Malfoy. I have a horrible feeling he is either going to be a character that will not change, or a character tossed aside. Which is a pity. I agree with Tom Felton on this one: the baddies are *always* much more fun!

Best regards, and my thanks for those who have taken the time to review my story...my one and only baby...may the hair on your toes NEVER fall out!
