Author has written 7 stories for Mortal Instruments, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Death Note, and Hunger Games. Hi, you may cal me Jinxed Ink, or J.I. I'm from Italy, and english isn't my first language. I'm obsessed with quotes (you will find a lot of them in my profile if you decide to read on), Mortal Instruments, greek mythology and Hetalia. And Shakespeare. I don't suffer from insanity... I enjoy every minute of it! People who say anything's possible haven't tried to slam a revolving door. Anyone who uses the phrase "easy as taking candy from a baby" has never tried taking candy from a baby. War doesn't determine who's right. War determines who's left. I used to have an open mind, but my brains kept falling out. I was going to take over the world but I got distracted by something sparkly. To be sure of hitting the target, shoot first and call whatever you hit the target. "Substitute 'damn' every time you're inclined to write 'very;' your editor will delete it and the writing will be just as it should be." - Mark Twain "The difference between the right word and the almost right word is the difference between lightning and a lightning bug." - Mark Twain "There's plenty of sense in nonsense sometimes, if you wish to look for it." - Will Herondale, Clockwork Angel "You have to write the book that wants to be written. And if the book will be too difficult for grown-ups, then you write it for children." - Madeleine L'Engle "Remember when you tried to convince me to feed a poultry pie to the mallards in the park to see if you could breed a race of cannibal ducks?" "They ate it too," Will reminisced. "Bloodthirsty little beasts. Never trust a duck." - Jem Cairstairs and Will Harondale, Clockwork Angel "While the Clave disapproves of trespassers, oddly they take an even darker view of beheading and skinning people. They're peculiar that way." - Will Hernodale, Clockwork Angel "No, i mean enterprising." said Will. "When I mean morally deficient, I say,`Now, that is something i would have done´" - Will Herondale, Clockwork Angel "History will be kind to me for I intend to write it." - Winston Churchill "The road to hell is paved with adverbs."- Stephen King "Everywhere I go I'm asked if I think the university stifles writers. My opinion is that they don't stifle enough of them. There's many a best-seller that could have been prevented by a good teacher." - Flannery O'Connor "Lock up your libraries if you like, but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind." - Virginia Wolf, A room of one's own "Ideas are like rabbits. You get a couple and learn how to handle them, and pretty soon you have a dozen." - John Steinbeck "Cut out all these exclamation points. An exclamation point is like laughing at your own joke." - F. Scott Fitzgerald "A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than it is for other people." - Thomas Mann "You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will."- Stephen King, on writing "The most valuable of all talents is that of never using two words when one will do." - Thomas Jefferson "By now, it is probably very late at night, and you have stayed up to read this book when you should have gone to sleep. If this is the case, then I commend you for falling into my trap. It is a writer's greatest pleasure to hear that someone was kept up until the unholy hours of the morning reading one of his books. It goes back to authors being terrible people who delight in the suffering of others. Plus, we get a kickback from the caffeine industry..."- Brandon Sanderson, Alcatraz versus the evil Librarians "When writing a novel, that's pretty much entirely what life turns into: 'House burned down. Car stolen. Cat exploded. Did 1500 easy words, so all in all it was a pretty good day." - Neil Gaiman "Don't say it was delightful; make us say delightful when we've read the description. You see, all those words (horrifying, wonderful, hideous, exquisite) are only like saying to your readers Please will you do the job for me." - C.S. Lewis You know when you are obsessed with Hetalia when: 1. You start laughing hysterically at maps | |||||
