Author has written 10 stories for High School Musical, Stargate: Atlantis, Life With Derek, Alex Rider, H2O: Just Add Water, and Gossip Girl. Hi there. Thanks for visiting my profile. According to my stats page, I've reviewed 1,058 stories from this account. 0_o Wow, that's a lot. If you're interested I've created a side account/penname: faerietaleredux Originally it was going to have poetry, but now it's full of Sonny with a Chance fairy tales and other rambings. o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o Straight away I should say that I'm a sci-fi fan, and kid texts (be they tv shows, movies, or books) are my guilty pleasure. Most of my favorite pairings are the opposite of what you'd expect from canon. Anyway, here are some of the things I enjoy that I can think of at the moment. Books/Plays: Peter Pan (almost all incarnations), The Thief series by Megan Whalen Turner, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Phantom of the Opera, various other fairy tales, Alex Rider, The Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest books by Jude Watson (my favorite aspect is the cool relationship between Master and Apprentice). I recently listened to an audio version of Shakespeare's Secret, which was adorable and of course I love The View from Saturday by E. L. Konigsburg and Nancy Drew. The Hornblower series by C.S. Forrester is a true adventure classic and Peter Abrahams' Echo Falls Series is a perfect blend of suspense and intertextuality (not an easy combo). Sci-Fi TV: I tend to have a special place in my heart for Sci-fi stuff (as a kid I would stay up til midnight to watch reruns of Star Trek: The Next Generation) so it's no surprise that I love Star Trek: Enterprise and both Stargate: Sg-1 and Stargate Atlantis. I also liked Strange Days at Blake Holsey High and Roswell (Seasons 1 & 2 before they made Tess evil) when they were on. And I have to mention Joss Whedon's Firefly, and the Britt Series Doctor Who (Doctors 9 & 10). Recently I've really begun to love The Middleman (and I'm so sad that it might be cancelled). More TV: H20: Just Add Water (All things Australia are love for me. One day I'll make it there, really!), Gossip Girl (Blair is too fantastic not to love), Veronica Mars (especially season one LoVe and any episode with Lily--she always spiced things up), Sonny with a Chance (that Demi's a keeper), Psych, Lizzie Mcguire, A & E's Horatio Hornblower series. Movies: Mary Poppins (I like it better than the book), High School Musical(s) (cheesy wonderfulness, though I mostly love the first and third), X-Men (I & II, I despise the third film. I wished theyd've found a way to keep Brian Singer on as director) and many more that I can't recall just now. o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o--o | |||||||||||
